How to Wear Leopard Print at 50ish/ Link Up

Ladies, do you enjoy the leopard print trend as much as I do? Leopard print has become my new neutral as a 50ish woman. I recently wore leopard pants on the golf course on Sunday (lots of wonderful compliments) and even though the pants didn’t improve my game I looked very stylish playing even at my age! My leopard print clothes and accessories are my favorite things to pull out of my closet and I love restyling them every year.
Leopard print is the one fashion-forward pattern that remains stylish, chic and on-trend any time of year at any age. This animal pattern stands above the rest for adding a sophisticated, yet playful touch of flair to any outfit.

The pants I wore golfing on Sunday are the same pants I wore in  September with my reversible leopard print necklace, bracelet, and earrings. See how neutral looking my outfit is with all the leopard print pieces?

Wear just a little bit of Leopard print

If wearing leopard print clothes are not for you try wearing accessories made of leopard print pattern. Jewelry, shoes, and purses always look chic when worn with an outfit.

In the spring I mixed a leopard print top with a linen jacket. The top was purchased in November of 2016 when I first wore it for a date night with my husband.

Wear Leopard on Leopard in different colors

This purple leopard duster is one of my favorites and I repeat this outfit a lot in the fall and winter. The leopard print cashmere scarf is over 7 years old and is still a classic staple in my closet.

Wear Leopard print with Black (or White which I will be wearing for a future holiday inspiration.)

Wearing all black with leopard print is always chic and stylish.

I wear a lot of all black outfits with leopard print. Even as an interior designer.

I will be wearing this black maxi dress with leopard print accessories in December for an upcoming holiday party.

Or while shopping for Christmas gifts….

Even when I’m decorating for Christmas at my client’s homes because I want to look nice and stylish while decking the halls with boughs of holly..

Treat Leopard print like a Neutral

Don’t be afraid to mix leopard with other patterns, like plaids, stripes or florals.

The leopard print jewelry looks wonderful with plaid.

I wore the earrings and leopard print clutch with small geometric pattern pants as they complimented the pants.

I love wearing a leopard skirt with solid pieces and my cut velvet scarf from Italy. The scarf had the same colors as the skirt but with a large motif that didn’t fight the leopard print.

Remember to use different scale sizes when wearing pattern on pattern.

Let’s not forget to add leopard print dinnerware to your holiday party. I use these entertaining pieces when I throw football parties and I will keep using them throughout the holiday season when we entertain.

How do you wear leopard print? I would love to know!

Many of the clothes and accessories were gifted to me from Chico’s. The geometric small print pants were gifted to me from the Dress Barn. The beige shoes with the leopard skirt were gifted to me from Adrian Allen. The black wool grommet jacket was gifted to me from Misook. As always these are clothes I love wearing and my opinions are purely my own.

Nice job with the leopard print ideas! I would not worry about your age on the golf course, because that day there was another very stylish lady golfer who has a decade on you and aced #13! #ageisjustanumber

      Kellyann,

I didn’t realize I had so much leopard print until I started to write this post today.
I started collecting leopard print accessories first then when it started to trend 2 years ago, I purchased tops and bottoms.

      Hugs,
      Robin
