Swimsuits for the Over 50 Woman Part 2: Bleu Rod Beattie
Ladies, if you haven’t read my last blog post about wearing a two-piece swimsuit over 60 perhaps I should warn you, I’m wearing another one!

Seriously, I am so tickled that swimsuit companies reach out to a 62-year-old woman who isn’t rocking a supermodel body nor a zero or XS in anything yet here I am again working with a wonderful swimsuit company whose philosophy is:

This summer has been a treat watching the emergence of the over 50 women on Instagram. So many fabulous women are sharing their swimsuit fashion and other fashion with confidence and embrace their body image. We are not perfect, we accept our age with grace and dignity.
As I wrote recently, I am not thin and my legs wear battle scars from being on my feet as a flight attendant and bearing 4 children, 3 of them in my 30’s. I do not photoshop my images EVER and believe we should embrace our journey as authentically and honestly as we can.
I am seeing so much body positivity lately on social media and it’s because of swimsuit companies like Bleu Rod Beattie. Women over 50 are posting beautiful images of themselves wearing a swimsuit and with confidence!

This has been a wonderful awakening for me as companies reach out to me to promote their brand. I think it’s fantastic that brands look to the over 50 women as a true consumer of their clothing line and reach out to us as ambassadors.
We are the largest buying power and to be affiliated with a savvy swimsuit company who recognizes our buying power is a win-win. No matter our age. No matter our size. Brilliant.
I am the most comfortable wearing a caftan in public as my family would probably prefer me to wear but I love being able to wear what I want at my age!

Finding a two piece is usually hard for me, but I am loving this suit.

Yes, I beleive women of any age can wear a two piece if they choose! Its all about being comfortable in ourselves and havin confidence. You look great and I love the little skirt and top – the print is very pretty! Love the matching cover up. I bought a new suit from Amazon, I may post.. its getting later in the season, but it still is summer 🙂

I only wear a two piece at home (and now in public) because I like tanning my tummy.
Even at 62 I’m not ready for a swim dress!
