How to Wear Citron this Summer

This summer citron is again a very popular shade of yellow/green. It’s a color that works with your skin type if you know how to wear it.

Citron is a color that looks amazing with a huge variety of colors, so it’s easy to find a shade that is flattering to your skin type.

How to Wear Citron on the Top

Because citron can be a harsh color for my skin type I’ve added this scarf to keep the citron color away from my face. Wearing a dark statement necklace would also be a great accessory to wear with this poncho. I have a navy multistrand necklace from Chico’s that will look wonderful with the poncho this summer. This lemony green looks great with dark colors.

I am wearing white knit crops from J. Jill. The crops come in black and navy which would also look wonderful with this poncho.

This tote is another way to wear this color if you don’t want to wear this acid color. It’s a wonderful pop of color for any outfit!

How to Wear Citron on the Bottom

The easiest way to wear the color citron is on the bottom. Whether it’s pants like these linen crops or in a skirt. I featured another pair a citron colored pants in this post.

This time I’m wearing this beautiful cyan blue sweater to go with the linen-cropped pants. This is a beautiful color combination for summer. I added the Seaside Oasis Mixed-Shapes Necklace to wear with the sweater. It really popped against the sweater, didn’t it? You see me wearing this sweater again soon! I’m taking it with me to Park City for the summer as well as everything you see today on this post.
