Stylish Monday : Mad about Plaid Fashion

Ladies are you mad for plaid like I am?

This is a sponsored post with Peach. All fashion styles and opinions are my own.

The temperature dropped finally in Atlanta this weekend and we’re so happy to see the highs only getting into the ’80s this week instead of breaking records in September!

I love fall weather when the temperatures are in the 70’s.

It’s finally the pants season! I actually spent the day rotating my closet and moving my summer clothes to the back and bringing forward my fall and winter fashions. Do you rotate your closet?

I am wearing my wide-leg plaid pants from last fall with the black Savannah sweater from Peach.

This top is so comfortable and looks wonderful with my plaid pants.

How to Wear Plaid Tip

Seen all over the fall runways, this plaid fashion trend is again trending and you can decide which plaid pattern is right for you. Do you like the traditional, old-school prints like tartans, plaids, and checks? Add a second pattern like animal print to make your plaid cooler and more streetwise. Think of plaid as a neutral pattern and add your personal style to it.

I went black and tan for this blog post, but I could have added an animal print top to my plaid pants and it would have been fabulous!

Take the colors from your plaid pants and find stripes, animal print, or just solids to complement your plaid clothes.

Here’s another way to wear my cropped wide-leg plaid pants. My leopard print jewelry looks wonderful with plaid. Read more about this look here.

Here’s another pair of plaid pants that will be on repeat this fall. I wore them last fall and you will see me restyling them again! Here’s the blog post featuring these plaid pants.

Shop for Plaid Pants

Since my plaid pants are no longer available I’m sharing the latest plaid pants available for purchase. The wide leg is still very popular as well as skinny pants in the plaid pattern.

Loving both your plaid trousers! I was trying to think if I had any plaid in my fall capsule, when I realized my year ’round glen plaid trousers are it. I might need to dig my flannel shirt out of the camping box…

  2. I already admired your beige plaid trousers, but the black ones with the pink blouse look stunning too!

    1. Nancy,

I had these pants in my closet from last fall and so happy I can wear them again this year!
I love the wide leg plaid pant because I haven’t found a slim pant that looks good on me!
Always fun collaborating with you my dear friend!

      Hugs,
      Robin
