Casual New Year’s Eve Outfit For Women Over 50 | Clara Sunwoo

Ladies, can you believe that we are finally saying goodbye to 2020 this week? Even though I will be celebrating New Year’s Eve at home I am still going to dress up. This week I am sharing New Year’s Eve outfits for women over 50 that I think are perfect whether or not you are going out or staying at home.

This post is sponsored by Clara Sunwoo, however, all opinions are my own.

This week as we usher out 2020 (thank goodness!) I am going to say goodbye in style. The year of staying at home in athleticwear or loungewear needs a proper send-off!

The end of 2020 calls for celebration, and that’s reason enough to get dressed up with your husband or your pet as you ring in the new year. With the light at the end of the deep dark tunnel that is the coronavirus pandemic, we’re approaching January 1st with renewed optimism—and the hope that things can only go up from here (right??)

Celebrating New Year’s Eve doesn’t have to glamourous but at least I’m not going to wear a sweatshirt!

Lately, I have been dressing up in my holiday outfits just to make me feel like this Christmas was a bit more normal than it really was.

Even my husband was always asking me during December, “Where are you going?” Nowhere, but I don’t want to live in sweatshirts and leggings this winter. And especially for New Year’s Eve.

The Kick Front Slit Pants are on repeat.

I wore them for the post on Holiday Style for Women over 50 with Clara Sunwoo.

They are stylish and wrinkle-free which is a win-win in my book!

I am wearing the Cozy Multi Brush Print Narrow V-Neck Side Vent Sweater Tunic that much more beautiful in person! Featuring a narrow v-neckline, long sleeves, a center seam going down the bodice which creates a slender silhouette, and a dual-sided vent hem.

I am wearing both the tunic and pants in a size medium.

My husband and I really enjoy staying home on New Year’s Eve. We haven’t gone out to celebrate in the last 4 years. Our children usually join us for New Year’s Eve because there usually are college bowl games on. We always serve lots of appetizers and make a one-dish meal for New Year’s Eve.
