Not Your Daughter’s Jeans

Ladies do you have a hard time finding jeans that fit your body well? I don’t like jeans short in the crotch and I love stretchy denim material.  Recently I had the opportunity to wear Not Your Daughter’s Jeans (NYDJ) and share my thoughts with you.

Disclosure: This sponsored post has been brought to you by Chico’s. As always all opinions are purely my own.

Did you know that Chico’s has teamed up with NYDJ (Not Your Daughter’s Jeans) to produce an exclusive collection of their flattering denim just for Chico’s? Isn’t that a wonderful collaboration!

The NYDJ for Chico’s jean is exclusively sold through the Chico’s.

I selected the NYDJ COOL CONTROL SKINNY ANKLE JEANS  to try on. Being a true fan of Chico’s pants I was really surprised at how nicely the jeans fit me. Snug in all the right places and they didn’t ride up where the sun don’t shine. These jeans are designed to fit in all the right places and make every woman feel comfortable and confident—like her best self. The jeans are constructed with fabric technology that lifts, tucks, cools, and shapes.

I prefer skinny jeans to straight bootleg jeans because I can wear heels, booties or flats with a skinny leg jean.

I selected the paprika-colored cutout lace detail tunic from Chico’s to wear with my skinny ankle jeans but it’s currently out of stock.

The multi-colored tassel necklace, bracelets, and earrings are perfect to wear with jeans.

So ladies next time your daughter wants to borrow your jeans tell her to get her own pair.

What brand do you prefer to wear when you’re shopping for jeans?

I would love to know!

  1. Chico’s all the way. 😉 But honestly, I am thrilled with anything stretchy and high rise; it’s the perfect way to pull in my muffin top, and I’m not constantly trying to hike them up every time I go from a sitting to a standing position. Ugh!

  2. This is my first time linking up with you! I found you on Shelby on the Edge’s page of linkups! I have a hard time with jeans because I’m super tall. Luckily in the winter, I can just put some boots with my jeans and it doesn’t matter if they’re too short!

      Nina,

Thank you for following my blog!
Jeans can be a tough call because it’s all about the fit and the length.
NYDJ has sizes for tall women. You should check out their website. Lots of different options!

      Hugs,
      Robin

  3. Hi Robin,
That was a top that caught my eye last time I looked at Chico’s site. LOVE the lace and the color on you, so beautiful. No wonder it keeps going out of stock. The jeans look great! I havent tried NYDJ yet, but found that I love Wit and Wisdom ( Nordstrom) Rockstar and recently AG denim, so soft I am wearing them in today’ s post.
Those red heels look great with this look too!

Another fantastic outfit, Robin! I have worn Chicos jeans forever. I’ve been a loyal Chico shopper since the beginning at their store in Winter Park. Lately, I’ve been wearing AG and Hudson skinny leg jean. Definitely going to try a pair of NYDJ next trip to Chico’s.

      Rosemary,

Yes I know you are a big fan of Chico’s just like I am.
I hope you try a pair of NYDJ for Chico’s and let me know what you think!
I will be watching the hurricane and thinking of you and your puppies!
      Stay safe!!

      Hugs,
      Robin

  6. Robin, this outfit is so great! I am loving the red on you. I have one pair of NYDJ jeans in white and the stretch is so comfortable with the perfect length in the rise! They were my favorite jeans until I found Torrid denim…now that’s my favorite. It just fits me a little better, but NYDJ denim is pretty fabulous, too!

Yes, I love the fit of my NYDJ for Chico’s! Very comfortable indeed!

I fixed my Link up button! Come back!
      Hugs,

  7. These jeans look great on you Robin! I love the color of your blouse too – that paprika color looks so good with colors in your necklace and your hat is so fun! I have found that Old Navy Rockstar jeans fit me best – they have enough stretch to be comfortable but they hold their shape.

      Kellyann,

      Thank you sweet friend!
I was pleasantly surprised how well the jeans fit and I am like you I am loyal to certain brands.
So sorry my link up was screwed up!
      Please post when you can!
How will you be affected by the hurricane?
I will be thinking of you!

      Hugs,
