Tropical Style for my Jamaica Family vacation

Next weekend, I am headed to Jamaica for a family trip and need to pack interchangeable outfits. Since we’re going to Jamaica, I wanted to wear a tropical style that befits the island. I found so many tropical prints at Chico’s, and each top can be worn with the skirt and pants that I’m packing for the vacation.

Packing for a tropical vacation involves staying cool, comfortable, and prepared for sun, sand, and possible rain.  I was looking for tropical prints like Palm leaves, hibiscus flowers, and banana leaves in vibrant Caribbean colors.

When I return from our family vacation, I will share more about what I wore and what we did in Jamaica, but here is a sneak peek of the house we are renting. We will be celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday, and what better way than taking our family on a trip and staying at this beautiful home.

We rented a home in Saint Augustine last year and love having the family under one roof instead of a hotel.

My Tropical Style for Jamaica

Tropical Pants Styled four ways

I’m still waiting on clothes for this vacation, but these Brigitte™ Tropical Pull-On Cropped Pants will go with so many of the tops I am taking. Matching sets are very popular now, and I like wearing the No Iron™ Palm Print Linen Shirt over the white Microfiber Tank with the pants. The turquoise necklace and earrings are from last summer. The Turquoise Stone Wrap Bracelet is still available from Chico’s. My Siesta Raffia Wedge Slide Sandals are from Patricia Green.

This time I’m wearing another No Iron Linen Shirt in rich cobalt blue with the pants. The No Droop Silver Drop Clip-On Earrings and the Statement Blue Bib Necklace, which I wore in this post recently, work well with the outfit.

Look what I found at Chico’s when I was shopping the other day with friends. How pretty is this Lace Crochet Poncho in Teal Waters for my trip! The Teal Stretch Set of Five Bracelets and the Turquoise Beaded Multi-Strand Bib Necklace go perfectly with the poncho. My Patricia Green Boca Slip-On Sandals can be found on Amazon.

This Linen Embroidered Lace Tee in rich cobalt is going to be a summer staple for me! I love the flutter sleeve details. The No Droop® Thread Wrapped Earrings and the Teal Stretch Set of Five Bracelets will go great with the tropical print pants for this trip.

Tropical Skirt Styled two ways

I will wear the same  Linen Embroidered Lace Tee and the No Iron™ Linen Shirt in rich cobalt blue with this cute Brigitte™ Seashell Motif Pull-On Skort for my tropical vacation. Mixing and matching these pieces keeps my suitcase lighter.

I still have clothes being delivered for this trip, which I will feature in my next post about Jamaica.
