Summer Fashion with Lisa at J.Jill

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend. We had family visiting for the last couple of days and enjoyed Mother’s Day with my family. We also celebrated a couple of birthdays too. I was also extremely busy on Instagram last week posting Mother- daughter outfits from a few brands that I enjoy working with.  I have been going nonstop and didn’t realize that I haven’t written a post in two weeks! This summer fashion with Lisa at J. Jill was supposed to be finished and published last week but I just couldn’t do it. So this week you are going to see all the mother-daughter outfits I did with Lisa that have already been posted on Instagram. I hope you enjoy the posts!

Summer fashion with Lisa at J.Jill

I really like the new summer collection that J. Jill currently has in the stores. I am such a fan of blues, greens, and tropical prints. When Lisa and I walked into our local J.Jill store in Avalon, I immediately gravitated to the citron and cobalt blues. I even took home two outfits that I will share with you later.

Red, White, and Blue Summer Fashion

Lisa thought it would be fun to wear the exact outfit and switch it for this post. Lisa is 5’11 and 40ish while I’m 5’6″ and 66 years old.

Here Lisa is wearing the Front Tie Shirtdress in a size medium. The red-seeded square earrings and red-seeded cuff bracelet are from Chico’s. Unfortunately, they are both sold out. Since both of us are a bit chesty, we didn’t think the dress would look good on us, but I think it does! Navy is a classic color that will never go out of style.

I am wearing the Crochet-Textured V-Neck Cardi over the Perfect Reversible Tank. Both in a size medium. This timeless button-front sweater is the perfect layer for transitional weather. Cotton-rich yarns provide softness while crochet stitches create a rich mix of dimensional texture. To finish off the look I am wearing the Linen-Stretch Full-Leg Pants. Yes, linen wrinkles when you sit down to put on shoes but the pants are so comfortable! The Seaside Oasis Mixed-Shapes Necklace is also from J. Jill.

We flip the outfits and I think we both wear the outfits well. Who do you think wears it better?

Blue and Green Summer Fashion

This blue and green collection is what really excited me about J. Jill’s summer collection. When I walk into any store I immediately go to the section that has my favorite colors and style. I will never try on clothes that don’t speak to my fashion tastes.

Lisa is wearing pieces from the Wearever collection. The Wearever Easy-Care Button-Back Top and the Wearever Double-Face Jersey Pintucked Crops in white. Her bracelet is actually the Seaside Oasis Multicolored Fabric Beaded Necklace in blue. Just wrapped around her wrist! So clever! She is wearing the Seaside Oasis Beaded Station Necklace.

We both have the Jute Fan Tote in Citronella. We added the Printed Skinny Convertible Scarf in soft lagoon-painted fronds to Lisa’s tote to go with my Tasseled-Drawstring Pull-On Shorts.

I decided to wear the Tidal Seamed Sweater in Cyan with the shorts. It’s made in a lightweight blend of linen and cotton. It’s the perfect layer for the season with jeans, pants, and shorts. (I will share with you later how I styled this sweater again.)

My bracelet is the Seaside Oasis Beaded Statement Bracelet.

Lisa and I had so much trying on clothes at J.Jill. Next up is Clara Sunwoo for another mother-daughter photo shoot! I hope you enjoyed today’s post! We certainly did!

Thank you for stopping by!
