Transitioning Summer to Fall : Influencers of Midlife Summit

Ladies do you have clothes that can transition from summer to fall?

Oh my goodness!

I have been so busy working to finalize all the items going into my Serenbe designer showhouse room and finalizing an influencer conference to be held at the Hotel at Avalon on October 26-28th ( more on the conference at the end) that I am behind schedule on my blog posts!

I had started this post last week and I thought I had it scheduled for 8:15 this morning and woke to see it had published at 00:15!!! Stupid mistake! I should have looked before I went to bed last night!!

So many of you who have been up early only saw one sentence and a couple of pictures. I know some bloggers only posts photos and a small paragraph, but that isn’t my blogging style!

Anyhoo, I have many outfits I wear from my closet that I try to wear from summer to fall by changing the temperature of the outfit by combining bright light summer to darker fall colors.

This chartreuse green linen top (one of my favorites since I purchased it in 2016 in Oregon) goes really well with the palazzo pants I purchased in December 2016.

Do you wear linen when the temperature drops?

So while I sit here completely embarrassed about not checking to see if I had rescheduled today’s post (which means I will be sending an email out to all of my wonderful followers) I plan on taking notes on how to be a better blogger on the Influencers of Midlife Summit!

Influencers of Midlife Summit

Nina Bandolini and I felt it was time to create a midlife influencers conference for women that is focused on our health and wellness needs and since many of us are new to blogging and working on Instagram and other social media platforms we wanted an educational conference that spoke directly to us as women of midlife. We have attended many blogging conferences in the past that targeted a younger crowd and as much as we love the conferences, we have different health concerns, family dynamics, and are reinventing ourselves after midlife. We are in our second chapter and we are focusing on us at this conference!

This is open to all women who want to learn how to create a better blog, how to work with brands, get paid to work with brands, create a stronger presence and gain more followers on their social media platforms and be well informed in their choices for wellness after midlife.

The event includes networking opportunities with top brands, keynote speakers, wellness and menopause experts, Photography and Video experts. Book one hour photo shoots with professional photographers and attend hands-on workshops with industry leaders. Special treat sign up for a 30minute hydra facial.

Come and join us!

  1. HI Robin, I love your outfit and your confession! Ah, the glitches of technology combined with mid-age! I can so relate. I’m interested in the conference and curious about what brands might be represented there. My family lives in Atlanta, so I could arrange to be in town for the conference. But I’d just like a few more details. Could you help me out there? Thanks so much!

  2. Your chartreuse top really caught me eye, it’s so lovely. I’m intrigued by the conference. I will give it some serious thought.

  3. Hi Robin
Don’t worry, I mistakenly forgot to hit publish on last Friday’s post and didn’t realize it until later in the day. It happens!
I would love to join you at the Midlife Summit but will be away on vacation then! It sounds exciting!
I am always thinking of how to transition summer outfits to Fall, as the one thing about being a blogger in the South that is tough, is showing Fall outfits when it still is hot outside!
Love your tunic, I bought 3 linen dresses for this summer. Looks wonderful both ways.
    Enjoy your day!

      Jess,

Yes, I have to be more aware of scheduling posts that aren’t finished.
Transitioning to fall style is so off my radar with the hot weather in Atlanta but I see so many bloggers braving hot temperatures to share fall trends.
I guess I should go dig out my booties…..LOL!

      Hugs,
      Robin

    1. Haha, Robin, I was a bit confused by your post this morning! But it happens to the best of us. No need for worry on that front! This chartreuse tunic is fabulous. I love it styled with white for summer and with the darker printed pants for fall. It really is a wonderful piece that can definitely be worn for 3 seasons!

I am so glad you came back to read my post completed!
I am sure I will need to send out an email blast to apologize for this hiccup!
I hate scheduling posts then forget to finish them!
