Patricia Green Collection | The Neutral Summer Wedge

We still have a few weeks left of summer and sandal season. I was recently invited to do a collaboration with Patricia Green and I selected this neutral raffia wedge slide and a pair of driving moccasins (to be shared later) to share with you.

About Patricia Green

There really is a Patricia Green!

Her love of all things beautiful beckoned Patricia to India shortly after her graduation from the University of Michigan. While in Kashmir, she met Mr. Mohamed Mohidin. He had a magnificent store in the center of Srinagar, Kashmir, filled with beautiful handicrafts, jade carvings, art, and antiques. Sensing her passion, he encouraged Patricia to start an import company. And that is how she began.

Since then, Patricia – the perpetual entrepreneur – has had a pillow company, a fabric shop, and a belt factory. In 2000, Patricia was living in Montreal and found herself in need of a pair of beautiful, comfortable warm slippers. When she could not find what she wanted, she ventured into the slipper business, producing fashionable slippers which were often mistaken for shoes. With great attention to detail, compelling colors, and trend in materials, the Patricia Green Collection has become a well-known brand for slippers with style, comfort, and personality.

Neutral Summer Wedge

If you don’t own a pair of neutral-colored sandals, let me recommend these Siesta Raffia Wedge Slide Sandals. These breezy wedge sandals are handcrafted in Spain with a beautifully woven raffia upper. Yes, they are probably more expensive than most sandals, but I believe in purchasing quality-made items over something inexpensive. These sandals will give you years of wear. Neutral-colored sandals go with everything!

In case you are wondering about my outfit, I recently purchased this denim shirt from J. Jill’s summer sale. I love the color of this denim shirt and it’s perfect to wear alone or under a sweater. J. Jill’s still has their summer sale going on with 40%off! I urge you to get this shirt while you can! The patchwork skirt is from Talbots. Unfortunately, it’s a few years old and I couldn’t find another similar skirt to link for you.
