New Year’s Eve Outfit

I hope you are ready to ring in the New Year. We were so busy hosting family over  Christmas that we decided to spend a quiet New Year’s Eve, just the three of us ringing in 2024.  We shall stay home, eat a lovely meal, and if we’re lucky, stay up until 11:00, or maybe midnight. Staying up until midnight doesn’t seem to excite me anymore. I prefer going to bed early and watching the sunrise on the first day of the new year. Even though we’re staying at home, as with all of our holidays, we dress up. I am wearing a simple sweater and pants for my New Year’s Eve outfit from Talbots.

New Year’s Eve outfit

I wore this pink and red cashmere sweater a lot on Instagram during December. I even wore these red pants with the cashmere sweater to a holiday party. The sweater went so well with cream pants, a black faux leather skirt, and black front slit wide-legged pants. You have seen the cream pants in this recent post.

If you’re looking to purchase the Weston pants in either red or pink, I suggest you go down a size. They run big and I could even fit into a size 6, but the size 8 was fine.

The black faux leather skirt is from Talbots and it’s only available in size 16. it was a very popular skirt when I first shared it with you in this post.

I still plan for an elegant evening even though we will be the only ones enjoying my delicious meal. I purchased a large filet mignon to serve for Christmas dinner and cut it in half so that we could enjoy filet mignon again for New Year’s Eve. Along with the filet, I will serve lobster tails and a lovely kale salad. The champagne is chilling and we will be wearing hats and tiaras.

A wonderful tradition in Atlanta and Park City is the fireworks that go off at midnight, which does cause you to wake up.
