Bio360 Probiotics Women’s Formula is Designed with You in Mind

Ladies, did you know that October is menopause awareness month? So this month for my wellness posts I am focusing on writing about issues we face as we go through menopause. One of the issues I have had during and post-menopause is vaginal dryness that can cause urinary tract infections if I am not proactive with my health.  Did you know that UTIs increase after menopause?   So now I am taking charge of my vaginal, digestive, and immune health with Bio360 Probiotics Women’s Health. Bio360 Probiotics is designed with your whole body in mind!

I have always dealt with urinary and vaginal issues forever! Even before menopause, I had problems with so many “Down there” issues. For instance, prior to menopause, I dealt with yeast infections and UTIs. When I was a flight attendant I  ended up in the hospital during a trip because I had a kidney infection. Because I was ignoring the symptoms of having a UTI, it moved up into my kidneys!

However, as I have gone into menopause I am very aware that I am again at risk of having a urinary tract infection, again.

Why post-menopausal women are more prone to UTIs

When we go through menopause, our estrogen levels drop which changes the vaginal pH making it easier for bacteria to grow.

We also face other menopausal changes that elevate our risk of UTIs  which include:

  • Thinning and dryness/irritation of vaginal tissue
  • Weakening of the pelvic floor and drooping pelvic organs (pelvic organ prolapse)
  • Urinary leakage (incontinence)
  • Difficulty emptying the bladder

Antibiotics have been the main approach for treating UTIs but I want to be proactive with my vaginal health. That’s why I’ve been taking Bio360 Women Health Formula for the last few months. I have read good reviews and wanted to try this probiotic. By preventing the bacterial process that contributes to UTIs, you can better maintain overall bladder health, rather than simply responding to a crisis as antibiotics do.

Bio360 Probiotics Women’s Formula

I have always drunk cranberry juice and have eaten cranberries because I knew cranberry was helpful in maintaining good urinary health. However, taking a good probiotic like Bio360 Probiotics Women’s formula is even better. Taking a “good bacteria,” or lactobacillus helps to keep the bad bacteria away from the vagina.

Bio360® Women’s Formula combines 25 billion gut-friendly bacteria, 8 probiotic strains plus Cranberry Extract, Zinc, and B12 to help support women’s whole-body health and vaginal balance.

I am also doing other things to maintain my urinary and vaginal health. Drinking lots of water and cranberry juice to flush out the bad bacteria. My doctor also prescribed a topical estrogen that normalizes my vaginal pH so that the vagina is hospitable to good bacteria again.

Bio360 has lots of wonderful probiotics designed for your specific needs. I have taken the Skin Health Formula, the Immune Health Formula, and now the Women’s Formula.

I bet there’s a Bio360 Probiotic designed with you in mind!

Just because I am older doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be taking good care of my vaginal health. I’m not dead yet…

  2. That Browning quote is among my favorites. Lots of good info here. I am thankfully finished with the menopause business but find info about pH interesting. Thank you for sharing. You are the picture of radiant good health.
