Cropped Cardigan Styled Two Ways from Saint and Sofia

Ladies do you own any cropped sweaters or cardigans? This year I have embraced the shorter sweater that has been trending. I absolutely love how fantastic cropped sweaters look on my short-waisted body. Today I am wearing a cropped cardigan style two ways from a new brand called Saint and Sofia as part of the Ageless Style group collaboration.

About Saint and Sofia

For many of you who have never heard of Saint and Sofia, this company is based in London, England. They create fashion and accessories that are fair and sustainable.

Saint and Sofia are serious about sustainability. They only use natural or recycled fabrics, bio-de-gradable packaging, and minimize transportation distance to reduce their impact on the environment. They have also partnered with the London-based Charity Trees for Cities to further offset their carbon footprint by planting trees.

This is the first time I am working with them. I must say I really like their style and the quality of their clothes.

Cropped Cardigan with Pants

This beautiful cropped cardigan in lime is made from the softest organic cotton. With a relaxed, easy feel you can easily layer this on cooler days or warmer evenings. I threw on a white tee shirt underneath for a casual look.

The Soho Cropped Cardigan comes in 4 colors. Since this is a European clothing company, you will need to convert your  US sizes to UK sizes.

I wear a US size 10 which is a size 14 in the UK.

With all the new high-waisted pants trending it’s easy to wear a cropped cardigan and not worry about your midriff showing. My midriff has had its glory days and will stay covered up thank you very much. But if you’ve got a great midriff, by all means, wear lower pants.

Since I am short-waisted this sweater looks great with high-waisted pants.

These Black wide-legged pants are the most comfortable pants! I just love wearing them with my black croc leather sneakers. This is such a chic casual look that can be worn at any time.

I thought it would be fun to wear the pants and cardigan with this cute little cross-body bag to complete the look.

Cropped Cardigan with a Maxi Skirt

I selected the Abstract Animal Print Greenwich Skirt also from Saint and Sofia for a dressier way to style the cropped cardigan. It’s such a fun print and looks great with the cardigan.

The skirt is made with a soft and silky eco-viscose fabric that’s sustainable and has a beautiful drape. It comes in 8 different colors. You can easily pair it with sandals or sneakers for a casual look or with heels for a more formal look.

  1. I love the pants on you. They are fantastic. I don’t think I will ever embrace the cropped tops. I just don’t see them as flattering. I tend to think Winnie the Poo when I see them. Great post though showing the different ways to style them for those that like this look.

Well, that was a cute visual with Pooh!
I don’t think this style is for everyone but it works really well with high-waisted pants where I don’t want to expose my tummy!

This cropped cardigan looks gorgeous on you! I love the ways you styled it too. No, I have not tried this trend. I have a long waist and I am tall, so I don’t think it would work for me. Thanks so much for joining our group!

      Amy,
I think the cropped cardigan style is a specific look. It’s great for those who love baring their tummies but most importantly its a great look for short-waisted women like me who want to wear high-waisted pants.
This cropped cardigan isn’t for everyone which is why I enjoy hearing everyone’s opinions!

  3. Oh, I have a sweater almost like this and just adore the color and cropped style. In fact, I’m styling a cropped jacket next week on my blog.
I’ll have to check out this brand. I always love supporting the sustainable ones.

      Jodie,
I love this cropped cardigan because I am short-waisted. I have been told that short-waisted people shouldn’t wear high-waisted pants but this works really well.
I hope you do check out Saint and Sofia. They have such a wonderful collection of clothes for women!

  4. Wow!! Love both looks. I have embraced the cropped cardi and have decided I am slightly short waisted, too. You have legs for days in those terrific wide leg black pants and your croc tennies are adorable. One sexy lady in the skirt outfit!! Love love love those strappy shoes and the movement of your skirt.

Too funny but yes short-waisted women have longer legs.
The moment I put on these wide-legged pants I knew they were going to be on repeat.
I felt kind of sassy wearing these outfits from Saint and Sofia which was so uplifting!

  5. I tend to wear cropped cardigans more in the spring (for whatever reason!). I like them paired with cropped pants.

      Joanne,
I bet cropped cardigans look fabulous with cropped pants!
      I need to try this!
