My Favorite Dress From the J.Jill Fall 2020 Collection

Ladies, are you planning on wearing dresses this fall? I know we love wearing summer dresses but I am curious because of COVID-19 are you wearing dresses this fall and winter? I am going to show you my favorite fall dress from the J.Jill Fall 2020 Collection.

This post is sponsored by J.Jill however all opinions are my own.

I think many of us prefer wearing casual clothes every day since the virus took over our world but once in a while, I like to put on a dress to meet with clients or out for a date night while socially distancing.

The thought that 2020’s fashion trend is a face mask, sweat pants, and gym clothes just because we work from home has me a little worried. Winter is coming and so are the holidays. I still dress up for the holidays because it has always been a tradition in my family.

Recently I was shopping for groceries on a Sunday and saw a lovely 70ish couple standing in the aisle with me (6 feet away mind you). Sundays have always been “Dress up for church” and I knew that they had been to church. Thankfully COVID-19 hasn’t stopped people from dressing up for church.

I had a lot of choices at J.Jill for selecting a fall dress but I really loved the simplicity of this textured A-line Knit  Dress from J.Jill.

When I am thinking about adding clothes to my closet I think about how many ways I can style the outfit.  The more we can restyle an outfit the lower the cost of the investment.

A neutral-colored dress has so many options to style it. I can wear this dress with boots or heels. A beautiful scarf can replace the necklace I’m wearing. It will look fabulous with the plaid topper I wore with my faux- suede pants and the espresso floral scarf.

Here are all the J.Jill Fall pieces I have shared with you over the past month. Which outfit was your favorite?

I have a sweater dress that I can’t wait to wear once it gets colder or stays colder all day! I love this oatmeal color (which is similar to mine). A beautiful blank palette.

      Lucy,

I love wearing dresses but find it getting harder to wear them in public!
Only client meetings and dinners with my hubby.
No more cocktail parties this holiday season!

  3. Robin, that dress is terrific! Love it with your cap toe heels and when it gets cooler tall boots will work as well. So versatile and so pretty on you!
