Introducing Una Blue Jeans
First, I should mention that Una Blue Jeans is an upcycle jean company created by Diane Shapiro, another woman following her passion at 60. Diane is a practicing attorney who started Una Blue Jeans as a passion project. Now Una Blue Jeans is becoming a thriving business for Diane! It’s incredible how many midlife women I have met follow their dreams and passions!!

Creating The Robin Jeans
The first thing I had to do for this collaboration was select a pair of jeans to be restyled. I used Talbot’s Flare Jeans for this collaboration. First, I had to choose a style I wanted my jeans to have. I selected the Spirited Ruffles Style. Next, I had to choose a color palette. Naturally, I selected a pink palette for my Robin Jeans. I also picked a fabric motif and embellishments for my new jeans. I went with floral fabric and lace.
Unquestionably these jeans are SO ME! I love the details, and they are so fun and feminine!
