The Poncho Trend is Back for 2022 | Ageless Style
Ladies, do you wear ponchos? Thanks to Jennifer Lopez, ponchos are again popular. I think I have worn a poncho every year, especially in the spring and fall when the temperature is perfect for an extra layer. I have a couple of cashmere ponchos for the fall but a vast collection of spring ponchos. Today I am wearing a linen poncho that was hidden in my closet and never worn before.
The Poncho trend
My poncho trend began back in 2017 when I collaborated with Chico’s. Ever since then, I am a fan of wearing them. Ponchos are perfect for spring because they are lightweight and have incredible movement when walking. Plus, they are perfect for the ever-changing temperatures!
When one of the gals from our Ageless Style group suggested posting wraps or ponchos this month, I was so happy that I could finally wear this one that was in my closet! I had purchased it in 2020 at J.Jill, thinking it was a large scarf until I got it home!
I decided to wear an all-white monochromatic outfit underneath. The top and jeans look wonderful together. The top runs small, so you should size up. I love wearing one color with ponchos. The look is very chic and stylish!

That color is so flattering on you! I didn’t realize that it was linen before. That is awesome for your climate.
Beautiful piece!! Love that blue…kind of very peri(winkle), I think. This is such a lovely transition piece. We usually jump right from winter to summer with very little spring. Our spring can see temps in the 90s.
Have tried to wear a poncho but can clear a room, a grocery aisle, a book shelf with one sweep of an arm in my poncho!! Such a klutz over here.
The fact that you thought it was a scarf, is proof at how similar ponchos and wraps really are, haha.

The soft blue colors in the poncho are perfect for spring. The poncho looks really nice over white jeans.
