The Color of Water Blue | Talbots

In a few weeks, spring will be here, but if you’re like me, you’re already getting anxious for spring blossoms and warmer weather. Recently, I went shopping at Talbots. I was searching for some spring inspiration. I gravitated toward the beautiful color of water blues that I saw at Talbots. There is something calming when you wear a blue shade that is associated with the colors found in water.

I love wearing any shade of blue. However, when it comes to spring and summer, I love the colors found in the sea and water. The tops that I brought home with me are the color of water.

Aqua Blue Sweater Vest and Boyfriend Shirt

The color aqua is fundamentally associated with the sea and with water, its namesake.  Aqua evokes feelings of reinvigoration, youth, and dreaminess, which is a perfect color to wear this spring.

I am wearing the  Cropped Shaker Stitch Sweater Vest in Aqua Blue, but it also comes in Capri Blue. The sweater vest looks wonderful with the Aqua Blue Side Button Boyfriend Shirt – Sailboat Stripe.

For sizing purposes, I’m wearing a size large in both, but I can easily wear a medium in both of them. I tend to go up in size when I wear shirts with buttons because they tend to gap at the chest. The shirt has buttons on the side and comes in two other colors.

The Slim Ankle Jeans are also from Talbots.

Ladies, if you’re looking for the perfect blue top for spring, this one checks all the boxes. In fact, when I posted this top on Instagram, I sold ten of the Bateau Neck Tee – Painted Stripes . It’s under $50.00 and so pretty on!

Talbots has a lot of bateau neckstyle tops, but this one is a winner as far as I’m concerned!
