Stylish Monday Link Up: How We Style 7 Shades of Green
Ladies, it’s the first week of March and things are starting to turn green around Atlanta and my favorite sister bloggers have joined me again for our monthly link up. Today we are sharing with you 7 shades of green, but do you know what green matches your personality?
Remember back in 2018 when I asked you what color is your personality? You can also take a test to learn what shade of green you are!
Before you take the test let me give you some basic information about the significance of the color green used in fashion and interiors.
Green, the color of life, renewal, nature, and energy, is associated with meanings of growth, harmony, freshness, safety, fertility, and environment. Green is also traditionally associated with money, finances, banking, ambition, greed, jealousy, and Wall Street.
The color green has healing power and is understood to be the most restful and relaxing color for the human eye to view. Green can help enhance vision, stability and endurance. Green takes up more space in the spectrum visible to the human eye and it is the dominant color in nature.
The color green affects us physically and mentally in several different ways. Green is soothing, relaxing, and youthful. Green is a color that helps alleviate anxiety, depression, and nervousness. Green also brings with it a sense of hope, health, adventure, and renewal, as well as self-control, compassion, and harmony. The green color is often used to indicate safety in the advertising of drugs and medical products. Green is directly related to nature and energy, so it is also commonly used to represent and promote ‘green’ products.

Your “What Shade Of Green Are You” test was so accurate! I know my IG account must make me look like an opinionated loud mouth. But in real life I’m actually calm and somewhat shy, just like your test says. My idea of relaxation really is a manicure or a good book. 💚💚

Green is my all time favorite color for as long as I can remember. I think because I have very green eyes and my mother always made me wear green! I still love it to this day. You all look so wonderful in your shades of green. And the chartreuse is absolutely stunning on you, Robin! According to the quiz, I am mint…”You are calm, quiet and shy. You enjoy relaxing things like reading a book and getting a manicure. You dont get Angry easily. If you were a crayon you would be used to color flowers and ocean scences if you were a pen color you would be used to doodle.” Most of this rings true…except I am neither quiet nor shy although I started my life that way…with lots of hard work, I broke out of that shell sometime in my late 20’s!
