Stylish Monday: 3 Ways to Style One Holiday Outfit with Peach
Ladies, do you ever think you don’t have anything to wear to a party or lunch with the girls during the holidays? How about using one outfit but styling it 3 different ways to get 3 new looks this holiday season?
This is a sponsored post with Peach, however, my fashion and opinion are my own.
I tend to restyle my wardrobe every December when the party invitations go out in an email to me. (I seldom receive a formal holiday party invitation anymore. Everything is sent electronically these days.)
I have so many wonderful holiday pieces that I wore last year and they will be reused this year for my dinners and parties. Because it’s the holiday season I will wear more red accessories which look festive.
I’m going to show you how to style one sweater, a pair of velvet leggings, and red jewelry to be worn many times for your holiday parties. No one needs to know you’re wearing the same things if you restyle them differently. Restyling an outfit is very cost-effective and the perfect way to get the most out of your wardrobe!
You have seen this sweater recently on my blog post for Jambu boots but now I am going to take this Ari sweater from Peach and make it my holiday fashion outfit.
Style Number 1:
The basic pieces that I will use for this entire post are the Ari sweater, my velvet leggings, and my red jewelry. For the first style option, I kept it simple with wearing mine with my over the knee boots. Because this is a simple look this style is perfect for running errands or lunch with the girls during the holidays. The stylish Ari Sweater is just the right amount of special, combined with a lot of cool.
Style Number 2:
Another way to style the sweater and turn it up a notch is with red heels and leopard print. For instance, I draped the long leopard print scarf I had in my closet over my shoulder and then belted it.
It instantly creates a more elegant look for the holidays!
Style Number 3:
Who remembers the hostess gown set that was popular in the 50’s and 60’s? I loved watching the movies and seeing how elegant the women were in the movies wearing an open from maxi skirt with cigarette pants. They looked so elegant entertaining!
I actually restyled this vintage look with the leopard scarf tied in the back over my velvet leggings. You can also tie the skirt in the front or on the side to recreate the 50’s hostess outfit. I belted it to give more definition to the outfit.
Now I’m ready to party!

Robin, I absolutely adore how you have styled this amazing scarf so many ways! I used to tie scarves around my waist like this many years ago. I might need to revisit this styling trick. And how fun is that 50’s hostess outfit! Oh, I swoon. Thanks for linking up!

Lovely!! Especially love look number two 🙂
Another vote for the always restyle camp. I love the 50’s/60’s hostess vibe of the open skirt over the cigarette pants! Now to figure out a good way to work that one in… Hmmmmm!
Robin you have given me so many ideas! My favourite is Style #1.
Such beautiful looks Robin! I want a nice off white blouse or sweater- im looking! You look amazing and I love how you styled the leopard scarf! I have to try that with the belt . Love the pops of red !

Animal prints are big this year and I finally invested in a blouse with that print. I love the brown colored combos and they look so chique and comfortable.
I love the different looks you created with the same top. I’m especially fond of how you mixed the animal print with the red accessories. All your looks scream sophisticated celebration.
That top is so versatile and pretty! White is a great color to dress up with accessories for the holidays.

Suzana,
I love trying to make things look new again without shopping.
Since I’ve been so busy this holiday season I don’t have time to shop for something new and prefer to wear last years holiday pieces.
Thank you for the love!
Robin
You’re right! No one (except perhaps a real fashionista) would ever guess that these three outfits incorporated some of the same components. And you look beautiful in all three!

You are THE MASTER of restyling! It’s been fun to follow how you take special items of clothing and pair them in different ways to work throughout the year. And, by the way, those red shoes rock!
