How to Wear A Gray Monochromatic Outfit For A Special Occasion
Ladies, I can’t believe this is the last week of October! Soon we’re all going to be getting ready for the holiday season full of parties! Have you started looking for an outfit for your next special occasion? So many of us love to wear monochromatic fashion for our special occasions. It’s so easy to wear an all-black or all-white outfit. But there are so many other beautiful colors we can wear for a monochromatic look. The color gray has been trending again in fashion this year. It’s a neutral color that I don’t have a lot in my closet. Thankfully Draper’s and Damon’s had this beautiful gray monochromatic outfit that I can wear for a special occasion.
This post is sponsored by Draper’s and Damon’s; however, all opinions are my own.
How to wear a gray monochromatic outfit
When wearing a monochromatic outfit, it can be as stylish as an outfit with many color combinations. However, when you wear one color for an outfit, you need to change the texture of each piece and the shade of the color.
For instance, this lace jacket from Draper’s and Damon’s adds visual interest. Also, it adds another shade of gray to my outfit. This modern jacket reinvents the look of lace with an elaborate pattern at the front, yoke, and sleeve. I paired it with the light charcoal Long Sleeve Turtleneck and the Everyday Slim-Leg Ponte Knit Pull-on Pants also in charcoal. You have seen the pants in black in this post.
You know that when you love something you need to buy it in another color!
Look at the beautiful details of the Lace Jacket! It’s so unique! I am wearing silver jewelry that I’ve owned for a couple of years. Silver jewelry is another shade of gray that completes this monochromatic out.
