Get Ready for Your Fall Fitness with Peach

Ladies, as we say goodbye to summer do you have a tendency to slow down on your fitness routines? After spending the summer swimming, hiking, running, and bike riding outside it doesn’t have to end when the first leaf drops. In fact, fall is a great time to harvest a new fitness routine to re-energize your workout.

This is a sponsored post with Peach, however all opinions are my own.

I have to admit this was the FIRST summer I was exercising ONLY outdoors since I was concerned about going to the gym during COVID-19.

I selected this Thrive Tank and these adorable dalmatian print Reversible Capri leggings from the Fall 2020 Collection by Peach to keep my fall fitness on track and in style.

Freeze the Gym Membership, Enjoy the Fall Weather

I dropped my gym membership last spring and decided that for now, I am only going to workout at home in our gym or keep exercising outdoors.

I was only going to the local gym because it had Les Mills fitness classes but I was also going to socialize with the wonderful women I met there. COVID-19 has changed how I workout now.

When the temperatures drop I really enjoy being outdoors walking with Bruno or playing golf. We are fortunate that September and October weather in Atlanta is perfect for enjoying the changing of the leaves and exercising outside.

Work out at home during the Fall

Now that the days will be getting shorter and the holiday season is looming, fitting fitness into your daily routine may feel impossible. But remember, even 15 or 20 minutes is enough time to get in a quick workout — think living room aerobics or a quick run around the neighborhood. Even working out at the local gym doesn’t appeal to me anymore as we try to figure out how to stay safe and keep our high at-risk loved ones safe during these uncertain times.

I have a gym in my home that I have seldom used until this virus changed the way I exercise. I am still working out to old fitness tapes and because of COVID-19 so many fitness classes or fitness instructors are offering free instruction.

So many free fitness apps are available for you to use. I’ve linked this article for some suggestions. Here’s another article for free fitness apps from Self magazine.

Layer Up for Fall Fitness

The change in season brings about a change in the climate. Depending on where you live, temperatures could gradually decrease or drastically dip over the next month. Keep this in mind as you plan outdoor activities and invest in breathable, moisture-wicking clothing like the ones I am wearing from Peach.

I am wearing the Empower Hoodie with the Thrive Tank and Reversible Capris.

Weigh Yourself Regularly

I hate to even mention this point but with colder weather comes heavier clothes, and I find it easy to overlook a few extra pounds through chunky sweaters. Avoid this oversight by weighing yourself regularly, preferably at the same time every day to get the most accurate reading.

Mix Up Your Fall Fitness Routines

Try not to get bored or stuck in a rut with your fitness routine. As it gets colder, you’re more likely to spend time working out at home or at the gym. Add daily walks, bike rides, or even raking leaves to your weekly fitness routine this fall.
