How to Style Talbots Zebra Print Shirt 4 Ways

I am excited to share Talbots’s pre-fall collection, which includes many zebra print pieces. Talbots’ new neutrals are browns, moss green, and white pieces. When Talbots asked me to select items from this collection, I wanted this zebra print shirt immediately. I knew this shirt would be fun styling it four ways.

Styling Talbots Zebra Print Shirt 4 Ways

Talbots’ New Neutrals collection has many beautiful pieces with a vast selection of zebra print pieces. I was excited to share this simple classic outfit of a button-down shirt and white jeans. Effortless style is something that women over 50 embraces. So I will show you how one shirt can be styled in so many ways to give you different looks!

Untucked

This untucked style is how most of us wear our shirts. I prefer to hide my waistline as much as possible, and the untucked style is so comfortable to wear. Talbots’ classic button-front shirt is made from lightweight, breathable cotton in a fun zebra print. The fabric is very light, but it’s not sheer.

I am wearing the Zebra Hoop Earrings with the Zebra Print blouse and Demi Boot Ankle Jeans.

French Tucked

What is the French Tuck?

The “french tuck” is a styling technique that involves tucking the front of an oversized, billowy, or looser top into a high-rise bottom and letting the back of the top be untucked and or one side too.  It’s an especially popular style when you have a slightly oversized shirt that may be sloppy untucked but too long for a full tuck. A French tuck will show off your waistline and keep things casual, making it perfect for those times you want an easy, breezy look.

I rarely style my tops this way because I haven’t decided whether I like them. However, this is another option for styling the top. What do you think? Are you a fan of the French tuck?

Tied at the Waist

One of the easiest ways to style Talbot’s Zebra print button-down shirt is to tie it at the waist. The fabric is so soft and makes it perfect for this style. I wore the shirt tied at the waist last night out to dinner with my husband for his birthday. Plus, you can see the cute button fly details on Talbots Demi Boot Ankle Jeans. I haven’t worn button-fly jeans in years!

The jeans have a slight bootleg shape at the hem and feature five-pocket styling with a hint of stretch.

Hiding the Collar to make a V-Neck shirt

Last but not least is turning the collar in so that you create a collarless v-neck blouse. So simple but another way to style the shirt!

What style do you like? Which one didn’t you like? It’s okay, you won’t hurt my feelings.
