Fashion over 50: Flying in Style to Europe

Fashion over 50: Flying in Style to Europe- Hello I'm 50ish
I have a little secret to share with you:
I have just returned from a wonderful week in Europe cruising down the Rhine River with my father as we fulfilled our Bucket List.{More to come on my travels later}
I spent 9 hours on the flight from Atlanta to Amsterdam so I wanted to be comfortable, but also chic.

When I was a flight attendant in the 80’s, I was required to dress up when traveling, so I still prefer to look stylish.
When I fly, I fly in style.

I don’t dress fancy , I just leave my gym clothes in my suitcase.

When you travel do you notice how people dress? Mostly in sweats or some outfit that is made of stretchy material?
Wearing gym clothes does not appeal to me, but chic comfortable clothes do.
I am older now and as a 50ish woman dressing up makes me feel better. (So does a sunny day.)
A nice comfortable outfit, jewelry, and a touch of makeup is all I do for a flight.
Do you notice how putting on nice clothes lifts our spirits?

I knew this was going to be a long flight, and the weather for most of the week was going to be in the 80’s, so I packed summer clothes and myΒ Boho chic gauzy tops. Remember they’re already wrinkled!
This wonderful citron colored top is fromΒ West of the MoonΒ in Sunriver. Such a bright happy color and I paired it with the white shorts for the flight.

I had the luxury of sitting in business class on my trip and enjoyed using the Delta sky club as an added perk while waiting for my flight to depart.
