Decorate Your Home for the Holidays in Cozy Fashion with Peach!

Ladies, now that Halloween is over I must confess I am now in holiday decorating mode. You will be seeing a lot of my holiday decor in the next few weeks leading up to Christmas. I love decorating for the holidays and I love comfy cozy fashion when decorating my home.

This is a sponsored post with Peach, however, my fashion and opinions are my own.

I begin decorating my own home now because I begin decorating my space at the designer showhouse next week, then it’s off to the races decorating residences and commercial offices for the holidays. This is the busiest time of the year for me and it’s the most fun!

I start taking calls for my Christmas decorating services in June and by today we’re completely booked up! Christmas decorating for my interior design company begins two weeks before Thanksgiving and we’re finished by December 8th, but occasionally we get panic calls from people who realize they are so busy they can’t find the time to decorate in time for Christmas!

When I decorate I love wearing comfortable clothes that are comfy and cozy. This black velvety sweatshirt and the black velvety joggers are perfect for decorating , running errands, or just lounging around. One of my friends said this would be a perfect outfit to travel in during the holiday season! It’s a very chic looking tracksuit!

I enjoy wearing it while decorating my home and maybe I might run errands in it! It’s very popular to dress this way shopping.

To decorate, or not to decorate early?

There is still plenty of debate over how early is too early to start putting up your Christmas tree, but some experts say the sooner the better, according to the New York Post.

I prefer to decorate early and not get stressed out during the holiday season. My home is ready to entertain family and friends. Thanksgiving is very late this year and December is going to catch many of you in a panic state because you enjoy decorating after Thanksgiving.

Did you know putting up Christmas decorations up early makes you happier? I wrote about managing holiday stress last year. Decorating early makes many people feel happier because you’re getting into the holiday spirit.

By putting up decorations early we have time to enjoy the holiday season and not feel rushed to decorate after Thanksgiving.

So if you were wondering when to start decorating, the answer is now!

  1. Love the silver and blues on your Christmas tree Robin. Looks gorgeous! We usually put up the decor beginning the day after Christmas and I love having it up in the living room with the fireplace. It is actually my workspace, so you can’t beat the environment. Your cozy velvet outfit looks comfortable and stylish! I love seeing pictures of the pup too! 🙂

  3. I love putting up the Christmas decorations and tree. I always try to have it up at the very beginning of December. It might be later this year as my living room is full of my daughter’s stuff as they are renovating their house. Robin you are so talented..I do not have your skills.

  4. Oh my stars! You have some serious tree trimming skills! That tree is gorgeous! And so is your velvet outfit! I think its never too early to start decorating! I have been listening to Christmas music for a few weeks now, it just cheers me up! And your dog is such a cutie pie!
