Spring Showers Bring BOLD Flowers

Is anyone getting tired of all this rain? I had to buy this fabulous navy floral raincoat because it was calling my name when I was at Chico’s the other day.

I fell in love when I saw this raincoat because I had never seen a floral one before. As I said in my last post Chico’s has really gone bold for their spring collection. I love this navy and violet purple combination don’t you?

Nothing like standing in grass in high heels! My daughter/photographer thought we should take photos in a natural setting. So I’m trying to look nice while sinking into the dirt. (Stupid idea to wear heels in the grass.)

March is the beginning of spring and I’m so ready for flowers and warmer weather. Goodbye winter!

I can’t wait to plant my flowers! Pretty soon I will stalking the garden centers on a weekly drive in search of flowers to add to my garden. I love gardening and having a symphony of color in my yard.

I wanted to show you the navy striped lining as well as my yellow scrunchie! LOL!

See how fun it is to combine the floral raincoat with the navy polka dot top also from Chico’s. You can combine stripes with polka dots and large print floral.

There is a story behind this post for those of you who may have seen it without words. Hopefully you just enjoyed the photos and thought to yourself, “Okay what’s this all about Robin?”

I forgot I had scheduled this post and it popped up on my screen this morning at 6:46 and I said Holy s*** !!! I thought I had pushed back the scheduled date but I forgot to update it!! I was going to spend time this week writing it, but then I got sidetracked and had to prepare for a meeting with the casting director,do a Skype call with my design team for the television series that may or may not happen, and do my taxes! Totally forgot about this one!!

I screwed up big time and now I’m writing as fast as I can to put words on my post!

Still need to study more on how to write a better blog and schedule my social media. So much work and so little time!

The lesson I learned today is to never schedule a post if it isn’t ready!!

Please forgive me!

Sometimes I read my blog after it’s published and rewrite sentences.
I am definitely not a writer!

It’s sunny here in Atlanta until the next batch of rain on Tuesday so I’m going golfing in layers!

  4. I love your jacket with floral pattern, it’s beautiful! And I love your boldness when combining polka dots and flowers (and the lining with stripes). It works well and the look is very beautiful. You look wonderful with it!
