Soft Surrounding’s Santiago Dress is Perfect For A Summer Affair

The wedding season is upon us ladies! After a year of canceled and rescheduled weddings and events because of COVID-19, we are starting to see invitations in our mailboxes again! I have been invited to a couple of outdoor weddings this summer and I know exactly what to wear! I think this outfit from Soft Surroundings will be perfect for a summer affair!

This post is sponsored by Soft Surroundings, however, all opinions are my own.

Soft Surrounding’s Santiago Dress is Perfect for a Summer Affair

I can’t believe that we’re back to celebrating weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries after a year of social distancing!

I was just talking to a friend of mine today and she said that they have 8 weddings to attend this summer because of all the weddings that were canceled in 2020.

So much to celebrate this summer and you’ll want to do it in style.

The Santiago Dress

I am wearing the Santiago Dress in Mango in a medium. You can wear this maxi dress for any occasion but looks fantastic with the Twins Garland Bolero if you want to dress it up a bit. The dress comes in 9 other colors but I love this orange color for summer.

The Santiago dress is perfect for outdoor weddings, casual weddings where it’s not a black-tie affair, and anniversaries. More and more weddings are becoming outdoor events.  The younger generation seems to prefer a casual wedding more so than a black-tie wedding. Who would have ever thought having a reception in a barn would be so popular! This means we can ditch the evening gowns and cocktail dresses and still look fabulous!

If you just wanted to wear the Santiago maxi dress then it’s perfect anytime! The bolero jacket elevates the dress to another level.

The Jacket

I fell in love with the Twin Garlands Bolero the moment I saw it! So much detail on this cropped jacket!

Embroidered paisleys swirl across a latticework motif on the bolero, with shape-defining darts, hook-and-eye closures, and cotton voile lining.

My Fun Instagram Reels

I love doing these quick Instagram Reels when I promote a brand. They actually get a lot of attention because people enjoy these quick videos set to music. These photos were shot in March so you will see my garden full of bare branches. I wanted to post this in the spring/summer for you to see what you can wear in warmer temperatures. March is a bit chilly in the north!

This first reel was shot when my neighbor was outside doing yardwork, hence the wave.

I wonder what my neighbors think when I am all dressed up with a professional photographer shooting my outfits on the weekend.

This video was also shot on the same day but I had also had my hair done by a local blowout bar so I was promoting them. The reel received over 42.5K views!

Are you attending a lot of summer affairs? Are they formal or more casual?

As always thank you for stopping by to read my blog!
