My Home for the Holidays and Christmas Cocktails
Ladies, in two weeks, it will be Christmas! I can’t believe how quickly the year has gone! Of course, we will be spending Christmas in Park City, but I still decorate my home for the holiday here in Atlanta.
Last week I was at a Christmas dinner discussing if you decorate your home for Christmas even if you are celebrating it elsewhere.
Many women who leave for Florida for the winter said they only put up a few Christmas decorations and take them down before they go. They don’t want to see Christmas decorations in March! Little did they know that I left my Christmas decorations up in Park City until June!! Park City is known for its Christmas lights! The Christmas lights stay up until the ski season is over!
Decorating my home for the holidays brings me joy in November and December. I have collected so many decorations over the years that it’s hard to leave them in storage. As a result, I decorated only three trees instead of five. However, I added a lit garland and a wreath on the railing above the foyer this year. You can see it in the video later.
My Home for the Holidays
Living Room in Jewel Tones
This flocked tree is my favorite Christmas tree in our home. I added this 9′ flocked tree a couple of years ago. Flocked trees are very messy, but I love them anyway. The flocked tree looks lovely with eucalyptus floral branches, holiday picks, ornaments, and ribbons.
This tree has the only breakable ornaments in the house. My granddaughters rarely go into the living room unaccompanied. The family room tree is kid-proof!
Sitting Room In Traditional Red and Green
This sitting room gets photographed the most during the holiday season. It’s my favorite room in the house.
I wish I could leave my bookcase decorated like this all year long! It’s filled with such beautiful memories of my Christmas past.
Dining Room In Shades of Red
My dining room table gets set for the holidays with different shades of red. Because of the coral pink colors found in my decoraHerHere’s was easy to add pops of red to the table.
Family Room Filled with Memories
This tree has so many colleWhaWhat’sments from the last 38 years. I love the whimsical polka dot ribbon used for this tree. Again I added extra eucalyptus floral branches to fill in the holes on the tree to make it fuller.
My Holiday Porch
My porch always gets decorated for Christmas. I don’t set the table outside anymore because we’re not here for Christmas. This photo below shows my porch table decorated for the holidays from a past collaboration with Mud Pie Gift.

My blue jogging outfit
This outfit was given to me by Jofit. Be cozy and comfortable while still looking chic. This cropped jacket features a bold oversized collar and metallic zippers. The Blue Slate color is beautiful!
I am also wearing jogger pants that go with the jacket. The joggers are made from soft and cozy fabric with a comfortable stretch. These jogger pants are perfect for cuddling on the couch or running around town. I am wearing a size medium in the joggers and a size large in the top. I should have worn a medium as the sleeves are long.
