How to Wear Zebra Print Pants For Fall

Are you looking for a new pair of pants that are as fun as they are stylish? With zebra print trending this fall, I thought I would add these fun ankle-length tan and black pants to my wardrobe.

I already have a pair of leopard print pants that I wear so much that I know I will be wearing these pants for a long time! You can easily wear different colors with animal prints. Since animal print is considered neutral, the color combination is endless! So today, I thought I would share how to wear zebra print pants with a safe color and a color that you may not think to wear with the pants.

This is the second zebra print piece that I own. You have seen me style my zebra print blouse from Talbots in this post.

Even though leopard print is still fashionable, try incorporating zebra print into your wardrobe this year.

Stay Safe Wearing Zebra Print with Black

If you aren’t adventurous in trying different colors with zebra print, wear a safe color like black. I have many black tops, but I don’t have a black sweater when the weather gets cooler. This sweater has pretty pleated details on the shoulder. You can’t go wrong wearing a black top or sweater with a zebra print.

The ankle pants have a slightly higher waist and side zip fastening for a modern fit. The fabric is a cotton bi-stretch designed for comfort and versatility.

Accessories Finish off the Look

I decided to wear heels for a more sophisticated dressier look, but flats also work. My gold chain necklace from Chico’s is my favorite piece, which is why you see me wearing it so much. My chandelier earrings are new, but any gold earrings would look lovely with the pants.

Think Outside the Black and Tan Box

Treat animal print as neutral, and the color combinations are endless. I have a pale pink top, but you can also wear a bolder pink. Also, try green or even a denim shirt with the pants. I wish I had taken a photo wearing the denim shirt that I wore with the Ann Taylor tweed jacket as an option. See Post.

Adding a black blazer or denim jacket as an extra layer for fall is a wonderful way to finish your outfit.

Unfortunately, my pink suede mules from J.Jill no longer exist, but I have linked a lot of cute pink mules at the end of this post for you.

Another reason I like to wear pink in October is to honor all the women who are survivors or who have lost their battle with breast cancer. Many brands are donating money this month to breast cancer research foundations. I recently lost my sweet sister-in-law to breast cancer in May, and wearing pink reminds me of her.
