How to Wear Scarves for Spring and Summer
Ladies, are you a fan of scarves in the spring? We usually wear scarves for warmth in the fall and the winter. But spring is a beautiful time to pull out your scarves as an exquisite accessory. There are so many ways to wear your scarves for spring and summer.

Scarves are an excellent way to hide our aging necks, but I love the versatility of wearing different-sized scarves. From small to oversized scarves, I bet you have some sitting in your closet. Scarves are a classic essential that you should start wearing for spring and summer.
Draped over the shoulder
One of the easiest ways to wear your scarf is to drape it over your shoulders. I am wearing a citrine tunic that needed an extra color near my face. Citrine is a hard color to wear alone but adding this silk tie-dyed scarf created a beautiful combination.

As you saw in this post, my periwinkle scarf was draped over my white shirt.
As a Wrap
Oversized scarves are trendy this year. I love wearing large scarves as a wrap for a touch of elegance. These oversized scarves can also be worn as a coverup for your swimsuit or as a skirt.
Here I tied my large scarf to give some visual interest to my dress.
Here I wore a large scarf over leggings as a skirt for fun. Oversized scarves are great beach coverups too.
I made a bolero out of this black and white scarf by tying the ends together. It’s a beautiful coverup over my black swimsuit.
Belted
Have you tried belting a scarf yet? I love surrounding large scarves as a fun style.
Or as a belt
Here I am wearing my periwinkle scarf as a belt. If you don’t have a belt, grab a scarf! Long skinny scarves make great belts!
As seen in this post.
The tried and true Knotted Scarf
For smaller scarves, I still love knotting them around my neck.
I love the pop of color I get when wearing this silk scarf over this white tunic.
Scarves elevate an outfit to the next level.
How to wear Scarves as a Headwrap
Headwraps are so popular this year! I don’t like wearing scarves as headwraps, but I did try it once under a straw hat for this photoshoot—kind of a funky boho chic style. Cotton scarves work the best.

So clever the many ways you’ve styled your scarves. They are less an accessory and more a piece of clothing in some cases. Love the way you have used them as wraps. It is often too hot to have a scarf wrapped around my neck but wearing one as a wrap would be more appropriate.
