Easter Entertaining in Chico’s Off The Rack

Ladies, do you start decorating your home for spring and Easter?

This is a sponsored post with Chico’s Off the Rack.

I decorate my home right after Lent in preparation for Easter. I was inspired by my recent visit to Pottery Barn when I was looking for an egg tray for my deviled eggs. In all my 32 years of marriage, I have never owned an egg tray! Pottery Barn has some really great spring and Easter table decor. Some of which came home with me!

How cute are these bunny salad plates and ceramic garden bunnies?

We will be entertaining family for Easter and I will show you my table already decorated for Easter. I actually set the table up twice because of the terrace porch is perfect for a woodland table setting. The dining room is a more simple table setting using the same pieces. My dining room table didn’t look good with lanterns on it so I went with candlesticks. However, my favorite table is the farmhouse table on my porch.

I am actually using the centerpiece from my Serenbe designer showhouse from last fall. Even though the orchid blooms have dropped it was a perfect centerpiece to create a woodlands tablescape. ( I have a green designer’s thumb and love seeing my orchids bloom over and over again!)

The woodland centerpiece is actually thriving since the September showhouse!

I actually set the table up in my dining room because I worry about the cold temperatures and the pollen that will be here before Easter. As darling as this looks green pollen is just around the corner in the south and I can’t keep the table decorated this way for Easter.

Which way did you like the tablescape? On my porch or in the dining room?

This is the very same menu I will be serving for Easter. I make it every year and my Italian family in New Jersey does too. Lot of prep work goes into making homemade Italian meals and entertaining at the holidays.

Here you see Sammy making the homemade manicotti with my niece who was visiting us from New Jersey.

However, this year will be an extra special Easter for us as we celebrate the first birthday of our little Olivia Lynnlee!

We are so blessed with being grandparents and watching our family grow. The love we share and our good blessings are what makes Easter so special.

Thank you to Chico’s Off The Rack for this collaboration. I love working with companies that make women over 40 look fabulous and chic!

It’s easy making Easter dinner because it’s the same menu every year just like it was for my husband growing up.

Thank you my friend for the love.
Yes, I am very fortunate the children haven’t traveled too far from the nest that they can help me cook and learn how to make Italian recipes that have been passed down to me by my mother in law.

      Enjoy your trip!

I enjoy creating tablescapes for seasons and holidays now that I’m Nana. I used to decorate for the children when they were little and now I can do it for my grandchildren.

  9. Oh Robin, I absolutely love your sense of style. Your porch has me green with envy, which feels right, since it’s almost St. Patty’s Day. The table scape is perfection, the bunny plates, a must-have item for Easter.

  10. Hi Robin, Haven’t visited in a while. It’s been crazy busy moving countries. Glad I had a chance to visit your blog today. You’ve made me long for spring. Unfortunately we’re in Riga, Latvia, where we’re still experiencing winter. I’m hoping to see some signs of spring soon. In the meantime I’ll enjoy your beautiful photos that will remind me that spring can’t be far away. I love the woodland table setting and the beautiful soft colors! Thanks for sharing. I’ll be back to blogging real soon.

Those bunny plates are just precious, and I love your green and yellow theme. It looks lovely AND delicious! You may find me on your doorstep… Our pollen has already hit, and it is extra fierce this year. I’m looking for any excuse to get out of town!

    1. HelloIm50ish says:

      Liz,

We have an open door policy and you are always welcomed to join me and my family!
Yes, the pollen has shown up already in Atlanta and I need to cover all my faux spring flowers on my terrace. It’s so sad we can’t enjoy spring weather outdoors without being covered in spring pollen!

      Hugs,
      Robin

  12. Your menu sounds delicious! I am going to pin this post and borrow it some time! Your table decor is breathtaking Robin! You are so talented my friend, it is just gorgeous.

We seem to celebrate many family blessings on Easter.
My son and daughter in law were engaged on Easter 3 years ago and now we’re celebrating our sweet little Livie Lee’s birthday on Easter.

      Hugs,
      Robin
