Dressing Room Confession- J.Jill Part 1
Happy weekend my friends! I recently stopped by my favorite J.Jill store in Avalon to try on a few of the newest pieces from J.Jill. This will be the first of four parts of my dressing room confessions. However, many of the new pieces that I tried try on didn’t leave the dressing room.It’s essesential to try on clothes and see how they look on you before you buy. Usuallyy the color or fit is why it will not make it in a shopping bag for me. Today, I am going to share an outfit that I really liked for my dressing room confession. I hope this outfit is something you will enjoy and perhaps purchase for yourself from J. Jill.
Dressing Room Outfit that makes it to my shopping bag
When I am shopping at J. Jill I tend to focus on clothes that are more my style. That’s why when I get to do a collaboration with J. Jill, I get to select the clothes that look like a 66-year-old woman would wear. ME! I was immediately drawn to this Reversible Quilted Ruana and love that it’s REVERSIBLE! It has a paisley print on one side and solid color on the other. The ruana comes in two sizes. I am wearing the S/L. It’s a soft style that I wore with the Pima Crew-Neck Long-Sleeve Tee. It’s the perfect layering piece with cardis, pullovers, and jackets, and it’s great on its own with pants or jeans in any style or shape. The tee shirt comes in three colors. I am wearing a size medium. There’s a pretty sky blue long-sleeve tee shirt that would also look good with the ruana.
Style Tip: Tuck in your pullover shirts and twist them on the side and pull them through the pant loop as you see in this post.
I selected the Authentic Fit Slim-Leg Jeans in Vicuna to wear with the ruana. The ankle-length jeans have the always-perfect fit you know and love, with a soft feel and a touch of stretch for all-day, all-around comfort. They come in four colors. I am wearing a size 10. The size 8 fit fine, but I like a little bagginess in my pants. Of course, I wear heels with my jeans, but you can easily wear any shoe.
