Blue Floral Wide Leg Pants from Amazon

Ladies, this summer it’s all about these wide leg pants that  I found on Amazon. Did you shop the Amazon Prime Deals this week? I rarely buy clothes on Amazon because the quality isn’t always there at the lower prices they have. But I was looking for some palazzo pants to wear this summer, and I found them!

My Blue Floral Wide Leg Pants from Amazon

Wide leg pants are probably my favorite type to wear all year long, especially in the summer when you don’t want to wear anything too tight to stay cool.

These pants have a lovely flow when you walk in them. I received so many compliments when I went to a club party last weekend. I decided to wear a No Iron™ Linen Shirt over the white Microfiber Tank from Chico’s. The three-strand necklace, sunglasses, and the denim crossbody bag are from Patricia Nash. Unfortunately, the earrings are no longer available.

I finished off this look with my Gold Verona Block Heels from Chico’s, which I last wore in this post.

These sublime wide-leg pants have a gorgeous floral print and a feel-good silhouette that’s just right for poolside, drinks on the terrace, resort weekends, and so much more.

How to wear Wide Leg pants

1. Balance Proportions

Since wide-leg pants have volume, balance them with more fitted or structured tops:

  • Fitted tops: Tuck in a slim turtleneck, blouse, or tee.

  • Cropped tops: Great for high-waisted styles; they show off your waistline.

  • Structured jackets: A tailored blazer or cropped jacket keeps your shape defined.

2. Define the Waist

Highlight your waist to avoid looking overwhelmed by fabric:

  • Tuck in your top or do a French tuck (front only).

  • Add a belt to cinch your waist and add polish.

3. Choose the Right Length

  • Full-length: Should skim the floor or cover most of your shoe.

  • Cropped: Should hit above the ankle and pair well with sleek shoes.

4. Pick the Right Shoes

  • Heels or platforms: Elongate your legs and prevent fabric from dragging.

  • Pointed-toe flats: Maintain a sleek line without losing height.

  • Sneakers or chunky sandals: For a modern, casual look (great with cropped or ankle-length styles).

5. Choose the Right Fabric

  • Flowy fabrics (silk, viscose): Elegant and drape beautifully.

  • Structured fabrics (denim, twill): More casual and add shape.

6. Style by Occasion

  • Casual: Pair with a tank top, denim jacket, and sneakers.

  • Workwear: Add a blouse and blazer with block heels or loafers.

  • Evening: Try a satin wide-leg pant with a silky camisole and statement earrings.

Bonus Tips:

  • Vertical stripes or a solid dark color can elongate your frame.

  • Monochrome outfits create a long, lean silhouette.

  • Petite? Go high-waisted and stick to a more tailored leg to avoid looking swamped.
