Holiday Party Outfits with Chico’s
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Our family spent Thanksgiving together, eating the same menu I prepare year after year. And, of course, we had three days of leftovers! I selected this Travelers™ Collection Faux Fur Cuff Cardigan and Gold Sequin Tank for a cocktail party. At first, I wore the sequin tank over a pair of Chico’s Juliet Ponte Trim Detail Ankle Pants.
Then, I tucked the tank into the Velvet No Tummy Pants as another option.
The tunic tucked in looks better on me, but I hid all its bulkiness in the pants under the cardigan. Otherwise, it’s not a flattering look. I’m wearing two different shoes with the cardigan. The first one is the Celeste Reptile Slingback Heels from Chico’s, and the second pair is the Malibu Kitten Heel Mule in Gold Metallic Shimmer from Patricia Green. However, the kitten heel looks more silver until you’re in the light, and the gold shines through.
Here’s another top from Chico’s that you should consider for the holidays. The Travelers Collection Velvet Top is the perfect top to wear with your favorite pair of pants. I’m actually wearing it with the pants that I wore in this post, which are over four years old.
Pink Holiday Party Outfits from Chico’s
Here’s a great outfit for a holiday lunch with the girls. I’m wearing a faux leather jacket that Chico’s gave me last year. To add a bit of sparkle to the outfit, I added the Sequin Skinny Scarf with the Touch of Cool™ Long Sleeve Tee in Rose Smoke. The Girlfriend Coated Ankle Jeans in Gold finish the look.
You saw this Ombré Sequin Tee in my last post. However, I am wearing the top with Chico’s Juliet Foiled Ponte Ankle Pants. Celebrate the season with confidence in these stunning foiled floral print slim-leg pants. Perfect for a classy holiday look.
I am also wearing Chico’s Gold Tone Coil Collar Necklace, No Droop™ Beaded Hoop Earrings, and Chico’s Celeste Reptile Slingback Heels in gold. The kitten heels are so comfortable!
This time, I’m wearing the Sequin Ruffle Pullover Sweater in English Cream with the Juliet Foiled Ponte Ankle Pants. This sweater is ADORABLE!
Chocolate Peppermint Martini
This is a fun winter cocktail that you can serve after dinner, too!
Ingredients
- 2 oz Baileys Irish Cream
- 1 oz Peppermint schnapps
- 1 oz chocolate Vodka
- 2-3 candy canes crushed
- Honey or chocolate syrup
Instructions

Put the candy canes or peppermint candies in a plastic bag or in between two sheets of parchment paper. Gently smash the candies with a rolling pin until they become small pieces.

Dip the rim of the martini glass (or whatever glass you’re using) into honey or chocolate syrup until a thin layer forms around the rim.

Dip the rim into the peppermint candy pieces until lightly coated. Place the glass in the freezer for 5 minutes.

Add ice to a cocktail shaker, along with the schnapps, Bailey’s, and chocolate Vodka. Shake well for 10-15 seconds until chilled.

Gently pour into your candy cane-rimmed martini glass, sip, and enjoy!
