Fall Golf Fashion

Happy fall golf, ladies! I can’t believe we’re heading into the last two months of 2023! Depending on where you live, your golf season may be over. I know many of you, like myself, are still playing golf in October and early November. Since the temperatures have dropped in Atlanta, I’ve gone from sleeveless tops to long sleeves. Even on chilly days, I’m playing golf in extra layers.

This post is sponsored by adidas. However, all opinions are my own.

Why I Love Fall Golf

Weather and Fall Foliage

Fall weather might be pretty crisp, but it can be a welcome change from the brutal summer heat. I don’t enjoy playing golf in the hot, humid weather we experience in Atlanta in the summer. There are days when I get heat exhaustion which ruins my golf game. That’s why I love playing golf in Park City in the summer because it’s cooler and drier than playing in Atlanta.

I also love seeing the fall foliage on the golf course as much as I love seeing all the azaleas and flowers in the spring.

Fall Golf Rules

Golf rules are a little relaxed during this time of the year. For instance, if you can’t find your ball due to too many leaves, your group might agree to estimate where you think the ball might have dropped. Relaxed rules mean less stress, added fun, and a quicker game.

Of course, the temperatures in Atlanta are now in the 60s and 70s, so I am wearing long sleeves and layers.

When the weather gets cooler, I switch to long sleeves and love this adidas MADE WITH NATURE SWEATSHIRT to play golf in.

To layer or not, you decide. This adidas golf sweatshirt has a loose fit that slides on easily over a tee or polo, but the smooth organic cotton feels so soft and cozy you might want to wear it all by itself. Either way, it keeps you comfy during chilly rounds, and the built-in stretch lets you follow through on every swing.

I am wearing the adidas  ZG23 Golf Shoes that you have already seen in this post too. They are so comfortable!

Selecting golf clothes for fall golf that make you look good while playing golf is just as important as your golf game.

You can quote me on that!

  1. My husband and I would like to try golf once he retires. Right now, every weekend is baseball. But I think there will come a day when baseball becomes too strenuous. Really like the way sports clothing and active wear is incorporating sun/UV protection into fabrics. I feel much better about being in the sun for extended time when I have that extra protection. Love the combinations of prints and bright colors you are featuring in these photos. You look ready for a big day on the course.
