Casual Style from J.Jill’s Fall 2020 Collection

Ladies, what is your favorite casual style in the fall? My favorite casual style is always a tunic sweater with some leggings. I tend to wear leggings more than pants in the colder weather because I can wear so many different types of shoes with leggings. This wonderful outfit is from the J.Jill Fall 2020 Collection.

Today is election day. Did you vote? I mailed my ballot in already so that I can avoid the lines. A crazy year and hopefully the election won’t be full of drama.

Can you believe it’s less than 2 months until Christmas! I am going to be busy running around shopping and I want an outfit that is stylish and comfortable all day long. Are you like me that when you get home from wearing jeans or pants all day you just want to take them off? I think that is why I prefer to wear leggings more than pants. They are SO COMFORTABLE!

The Outfit

I have over 5 J.Jill sweater tunics in my closet in different colors and really love this Erica Merino Tunic in Aloe Heather. This is a color I don’t have in my closet and I can wear it for the holidays by switching out the scarf! It’s part of the Fall Collection for J.Jill. It comes in 3 other colors but I wanted to add a green tunic to my collection. I am wearing a medium but could probably get away with a size small. Because I prefer not to wear clothes that are tight-fitting so I shy away from a smaller size. The small also looked good on me but I selected the medium size in the tunic anyway.

I absolutely love the Smoothing-Ponte Leggings in dark fig! I thought this was such a great color combination to wear with the aloe heather! The leggings come in 5 other colors and are true to size. I am wearing a medium. One question I have often been asked is that is it appropriate for a woman over 60 to wear leggings? ABSOLUTELY! I just think that leggings shouldn’t be informing the world of our dimples and cellulite. I always look for leggings that have a thicker fabric like J.Jill’s to hide my imperfections.

The scarf was my color inspiration for this outfit from J.Jill. This is the same Autumnal Rose Scarf that I wore in the last J.Jill post. This is the barley color. The scarf does a nice job pulling the outfit together don’t you think?
