5 Red Valentine’s Day Cocktails You Should Try

February is the month of love, and I’m all about wearing pink for Valentine’s Day. As I said in my post for the Super Bowl, I probably won’t be going out for dinner on Valentine’s Day. Hosting the Super Bowl party is plenty of fun for me. But I will put on my favorite color and whip up a delicious dinner, including Valentine’s Day cocktails. All weekend I have been taste-testing cocktails just so that I can share them with you! Who am I kidding? I love sampling cocktail recipes as much as I love food recipes!

I thought it would be fun to share 5 of my favorite cocktails using cranberry juice and pomegranate juice. Red cocktails are perfect for Christmas and Valentine’s Day. You can find more cocktail recipes in this post.

My 5 Favorite Red Valentine’s Day Cocktails

I will only share pomegranate and cranberry cocktails for this post because of their health benefits. Does that make them healthier as a cocktail? No, but at least you can think of these cocktails as beneficial because you’re using cranberry or pomegranate juice.

Pink is My Color of Love

So many of us associate RED as the color of love, but did you know that PINK is the universal color of love?

The color pink is the color of universal love of oneself and of others. A combination of red and white, pink contains the need for action of red, helping it to achieve the potential for success and insight offered by white. From a spiritual perspective the color pink represents compassion, nurturing and love.

I love this pink tunic from Chico’s. But unfortunately, it’s sold out as I am writing this blog post. Until last week, it was available, so I should have shared it with you earlier. I love wearing pink for Valentine’s Day because red is a hit-and-miss color with me. I wore my white ankle jean and my pink bowtie flats to complete this look.
