I am so impressed with theTravelers™ Collection Jackets that when I saw this beautiful Travelers™ Collection Floral Jacquard Jacket, I knew it would be perfect for my next special occasion. I posted about the Travelers™ Collection Pleated Jacket that I wore in Kansas City and received so many wonderful compliments.

After viewing the “How to Wear It” feature for the jacket on the Chico’s website, I thought I would style the jacket with the Travelers Lace Trim Tank and the Travelers Lace Trim Cropped Pants.

Chico’s has added a lot of lace pieces to their website, and I really like the lace trim details on the sleeveless top and pants.

I selected the No Droop™ Silver Drop Clip-On Earrings and the Statement Blue Bib Necklace to complete this outfit. I really enjoy wearing clip-on earrings and may purchase more in the future. These don’t pinch your ear like some do! My bracelets are the Faux Tennis Stretch Bracelet, the Silver-Tone Link Bracelet, and the Small Beaded Silver-Tone Stretch Bracelet. My Lucite Heel Sandals are from last year and appeared in many posts, including this one.

Vibe: Sophisticated but flirty

Linen season is back in full bloom, and I absolutely love this Linen Sleeveless Beaded Dress that can be worn for any special occasion, as long as it’s not a formal wedding. I may wear it for Mother’s Day or my anniversary. Also, I have my 50th class reunion coming up, and I may wear it to that celebration. I can hardly believe it’s been 50 years since I graduated from high school. It’s also been 30 years since I saw many of my classmates.

I look forward to seeing them again and learning about their lives now.

The Statement Butterfly Filigree Earrings and the Butterfly Statement Bib Necklace are also from Chico’s. The Twinkling Trio bracelets from Pearls by Shari were given to me last fall as part of an Instagram collaboration. This is a woman-owned business with a studio located in Park City.

The story behind the wallpaper. We recently purchased a new home in Park City, and as much as I love wallpaper, this wallpaper would clash with the art and family photos I plan to display in this sitting room. It was removed, but I wanted to shoot the linen dress against the wallpaper. Moving forward, you will be seeing glimpses of our new home when I shoot in Park City. We have been searching for a larger home in Park City for a couple of years, but it was difficult to say goodbye to the home I renovated during the COVID-19 pandemic with my husband. I wrote about it here.  

For a Daytime Celebration (Wedding, Mother’s Day, Brunch, Garden Party)

My last dress is the Travelers Cowl Neck Maxi Dress, which can be worn with or without the Travelers Collection Sheer Jacquard Topper. I enjoy wearing an extra layer to special occasions because restaurants can be so chilly, as well as evenings.

Again, I am wearing the Statement Butterfly Filigree Earrings and the Gold Verona Block Heels from Chico’s. The sandals offer all-day comfort with Chico’s Dual Pod memory foam-padded sock design, ideal for those who need to be on their feet all day at a special event.
