Travel Over 50: Vista Encantada Spa Resort & Residences

We just returned from a wonderful five-day stay at Vista Encantada Spa Resort & Residences in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. This is an all-inclusive resort, so you never need to leave the property. The resort is perfect for people over 50 who are looking to relax and unwind for a week or two. There are so many options to choose from when staying at the resort. Let me share my experience with you!

This is a sponsored post. However, all opinions are my own.

Vista Encantada Spa Resort & residences

We haven’t been to Cabo San Lucas since 2006, and this was a lovely experience for my husband and me. What a wonderful resort to create new memories with!

We enjoyed our first margarita at the lobby bar at the resort.

Vista Encantada’s luxurious suites provide an exclusive and tranquil retreat for owners and guests seeking to recharge and indulge in a place that helps them disconnect and reconnect to what really matters. You can select two-bedroom villas or three—or four-bedroom Vista residences for your stay. I saw them all and was so impressed with their beautiful interiors.

Our two bedroom Vista suite

This suite features a Master bedroom with a King bed and a second bedroom with two Queen beds. Other outstanding amenities include a full kitchen, two and a half bathrooms, a sitting and dining area, and a private terrace with a plunge pool.

I made a video on Instagram showing our villa.

The Sky Gym and Pools on the Rooftop

The Sky Gym, Infinity Pools, Atico Rooftop Bar, and Mestizo del Mar are on the seventh floor of Vista Encantada Spa Resort & Residences. I did pilates outside every morning while looking at the beautiful views from the rooftop.

The pool was spectacular! We enjoyed margaritas and light bites from the Atico Rooftop bar for lunch.

Milagro Wellness Spa at Vista Encantada Spa Resort & Residences

Hubby and I had a wonderful and relaxing couple’s spa day at Milagro Wellness Spa, which is part of Vista Encantada Spa Resort and Residences.

We enjoyed the Hydrotherapy Session, which consisted of the following:
Sauna
A private outdoor pool
Jacuzzi

Then we had a one-hour couple’s Relaxing Massage, which was pure heaven!
We had never experienced a couple’s massage before, and this was a wonderful experience for both of us.

The spa is one of the many highlights while staying at Vista Encantada Spa Resort and Residences!

Our Favorite Restaurants during our stay

Vista Encantada Spa Resort & Residences is an all-inclusive resort where you never need to leave the property to dine. Still, we wanted to experience a highly-rated restaurant that our friends recommended.

Sunset Mona Lisa

On our first night, we dined at Sunset Mona Lisa and wanted to watch the sunset, so we ate every night around six o’clock. The sunsets were spectacular, with lots of pink, red, and orange.

The food, the view, and the entertainment were beyond amazing! I highly recommend you eat here the next time you’re in Cabo San Lucas.

While we ate, we were entertained by a lovely opera singer and a jazz quartet. If you look behind the singer, you can see the arch of Cabo San Lucas. The arch is locally known as “El Arco,” which means “the arch” in Spanish, or “Land’s End.” It is here that the Pacific Ocean becomes the Gulf of California.

If you want to see more of this fabulous dinner, please check out my Instagram video.

Mestizo Del Mar

Mestizo Del Mar is Vista Encantada’s signature restaurant, located on the rooftop. We had breakfast there every morning after working out in the sky gym. It was the perfect restaurant for our last night at Vista Encantada Spa Resort and Residences. The food and view are amazing!

My husband had the blackened tuna tower.

I also had crab cakes in mustard sauce with avocado relish.

Grilled Mixed Fruit Salad

Arugla Salad

My husband had the Lobster and Shrimp Risotto.

I had the Surf and Turf.

We shared the Creme Bulee for dessert

Los Riscos

Located at the cliff of the Resort, let moonlight frame a memorable dining experience with the sounds of the waves crashing below. Enjoy Mexican specialties, freshly grilled fish and seafood, mesquite-grilled steaks, pasta, soups, and salads.

We had dinner at Los Riscos after sunset, and I apologize for taking photos at night.

My husband and I shared a tomahawk steak and also had lobster tails for dinner.
