My Sips & Shares Recipes
I am sharing an easy appetizer that only has 3 ingredients which will keep you out of the kitchen. When your entertaining you should have easy recipes that are crowd pleasers like this one!
The Transfusion
Don’t ask me why this drink is so popular with golfers. I always thought golfers drank beer and scotch, but they also enjoy drinking the Transfusion.
The Transfusion cocktail is a golf club standard made with vodka, ginger ale, grape juice, and lime juice. It’s so refreshing, delicious, potent enough to numb the pain of a double bogey, and in my case getting a 9 on a hole. I also love serving it at home. Sammy likes her mocktail version because I leave out the vodka!
Ingredients:
- 2 ½ ounces* vodka
- 2 ounces Concord grape juice
- ½ ounce lime juice
- 4 ounces ginger ale
- Ice, for serving
Instructions:
- Add the vodka, Concord grape juice, and lime juice to an ice-filled highball glass and stir.
- Top off with the ginger ale. (Sometimes I use Fresca which is also delicious!)
3 Ingredient Mexican Appetizer
Ingredients:
- 1 jar of Trader Joe’s Corn and Chile Tomatoless Salsa
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 large log of Goat Cheese 10.5 ounces

- In a 9″ round pie plate or serving dish mash the goat cheese to form a layer at the bottom.
2. Add one jar of Trader Joe’s Corn and Chile Tomato less Salsa as the second layer.
