Shopping the New Reversible Spring Collection at J.Jill
I am in need of a spring wardrobe refresh and did some shopping therapy at J.Jill’s last week. Shopping therapy is good for our mental health and happiness. It should be covered by our insurance don’t you think? At least I got my 10,000 steps in shopping last week. My husband asked if I had worked out on Thursday and I replied yes! My first stop was to see the new spring reversible collection from J.Jill! I will share more from the spring collection later this week.
I have always been fond of clothing that can be worn multiple ways and I love the new reversible collection from J.Jill. Many of the pieces in the reversible collection were not available in my size so I will only share with you my favorites.
I am so happy that stores are open for us to try on clothes again. When I see the catalog full of slender models under the age of 50 I always wonder if something will look right on me. I wear between a medium and small at J.Jill. Many times a medium is too large on me. I think women my age appreciate seeing clothes on other 50ish women before they make the decision to purchase an outfit.
I think the newly redesigned reversible trenchcoat is a perfect wardrobe staple. It’s like having two versatile jackets in one. And because both sides are water-repellent, a little drizzle won’t dampen your plans.
I am wearing a reversible color block V-neck sweater in a medium and the floral precision stretch slim leg pants. The pants will get a lot of use this year because of the timeless style and dark floral print. I purchased two other tops to go with the floral pants which I will share later. The navy floral pants can be worn with so many of the tops I have in my closet. I tried on both an 8 and a 10 in the pants and went for the roomier 10. ( I am working on getting back into roomier 8’s!!)
The earrings are mine but I selected this beautiful semi-precious pendant to go with my outfit. This necklace goes with everything I purchased at J.Jill’s last week. I am always looking to add more silver jewelry. The long necklace compliments the v neck style.

I too, am ready for some retail therapy! I did very little shopping in 2020 with staying home and waiting for things to change next month. Luckily, I have a comfortable wardrobe, but now is the time for a refresh!
