Home for the Holidays: Casual Holiday Style

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful time being gathered around the table with my family once again. It’s been over two years since we had family members fly in to be with us. It was very relaxing, and I’m happy to report nothing was overcooked! We will have company until Sunday afternoon, but we have plenty of leftovers. Even my husband said to me last night, should we get another turkey? We love to host casual parties at home during the holiday season. Appetizers, cocktails, and a pasta dish are what I usually prepare for small holiday parties. Since it’s the holidays, I will dress up with something dressy but very casual.  So today, I’m sharing a casual holiday style from Jofit.

I love Black Friday sales, but I wouldn’t say I like shopping when it’s crowded. So my preference is to shop online, which I think most of us do lately. Even the Black Friday sales have been going on before Thanksgiving! But today, I’m sharing a fringe top that you will want to have for the holidays, and it’s 25% off until November 30th!!

My Casual Holiday Style

The poncho is an enjoyable oversized top with a fringed hem that has fantastic movement to it. I am wearing the M/L size. The poncho also comes in Navy. There’s plenty of room in the top and will look great on women over 50 this holiday season!

I am wearing Chinoiserie Pants from Soft Surroundings that I had from last year. Unfortunately, they only have XS in the pants. If you wear XS, I highly recommend that you grab these standout foil-printing on black, straight-legged pants.

My gold coin necklace is no longer available, but I found another coin necklace that would work with this top. Also, any long-chain will work with the poncho.

Dressing up in a casual holiday style is perfect even after the season is over. I am taking this outfit with me to Park City this winter, where casual style is the preferred look. This outfit will be perfect for going out to dinner after a day on the slopes. Nothing like a dinner with friends and family during the holidays!
