Black Faux Leather Outfit and a White Tee (And I thought I was Sandy)
Do you ever wear an outfit that reminds you of something from a movie? Most of the time, I never think about clothes from a film, but when I put on this faux leather blazer and pants, I immediately thought I was Sandy from Grease. (Except without the stilettos, cigarette, and black tee shirt.) Faux leather is trending for fall this year, and I decided to wear an all-black fake leather outfit and a white tee shirt for today’s post.
Black Faux Leather Outfit and a Tee
I am a massive fan of faux leather jackets and pants, but this is the first faux leather blazer that will be a staple in my closet. It’s versatile clothing worn with dresses, skirts, pants, and jeans. In addition, you can dress up or down your faux leather blazer.
I am wearing the Palermo Blazer from Peach’s fall collection. This traditional blazer silhouette features faux stretch leather for all-day comfort that instantly elevates any look. The blazer is so buttery soft! I love scrunching up my sleeves when I wear this blazer. Today I paired the blazer with my Hayden Pants which are still available. I wear these faux leather pants as much as possible in the fall and winter! You have seen my leather pants in this post from last winter.
You can wear a crew neck tee shirt like I’m wearing from Peach or a white tank top to finish off the outfit. I wore a belt over my pull-on pants while tucked in my shirt. My necklace is old, but I purchased these gold earrings since I left a lot of my jewelry in Park City. Good excuse to go shopping! Unfortunately, the black leather sneakers are no longer available, but any pair of sneakers or flats would work with this outfit.
My Haircut
I get it cut about four times a year for those wondering about my haircut. I wrote about why I cut my hair a couple of years ago in this post.
As much as I love my hair long, it’s gotten so thin since menopause, and I keep it cut above my shoulders. Recently another woman I have become friends with on Instagram has been so disturbed by her hair thinning. I am researching thinning hair as we age and will report on it later.
