Black and White Fashion For Transitioning to Fall

As we enjoy the last days of summer are you thinking of what to wear for fall? I know many of you start to put away white pants and shorts after Labor Day. Black and white fashion is a perfect color combination to transition from summer to fall.

I hate to see summer end but I am slowly changing my wardrobe from tropical prints and happy bright colors to muted shades. Even though Atlanta will still be hot until October I am starting to wear different color combinations. I love transitioning from season to season wearing black and white fashion. This color combination can be worn from season to season. The bright whites turn into winter whites. Even if you wear a crisp white blouse over black pants in the colder months, it’s still a classic style.

Before I start rolling out my new fall fashion with you I wanted to share my latest transitional summer to fall outfit.

Black and White Fashion is Always In Style

Black and white fashion is seasonless, timeless, and ageless. It is also the most versatile and easiest to wear of all color combinations. You’ll never go wrong. Some might suggest it’s too safe; others will find it boring. But one thing you’ll never hear anyone say is it’s lacking in style. Black and white fashion is always in style.

You can build your entire wardrobe around these two colors and never be out of style.

My Black and White Fashion

I found this cute dalmatian print baby doll top and decided I needed to add it to my summer wardrobe. This flowy and ruffled top will be perfect under a short cropped jacket when the weather gets cooler. I can throw on a pair of black pants and add a pop of color later. Wearing long ruffled tops with cropped jackets adds another hemline to the jacket.

I am still wearing shorts but have switched to wearing black. I don’t follow the rules so my white Bermuda shorts will also work now. These shorts are currently on sale and I purchased 3 different colors to keep in Park City.

I love wearing black and white fashion as much as I can. It’s a classic color combination that we all have in our closets.
