Two-Piece Swimsuit for Over 50
I am heading to Hilton Head for Memorial Day week and really wanted to wear a two-piece swimsuit. I see so many women of every age and body type wearing two-piece swimsuits. Yes, my bits and pieces have shifted and expanded, but I still love wearing a two-piece swimsuit for the tan lines. I know it’s stupid, but I still like it.
I have learned to embrace my curves but I still want to feel comfortable wearing a two-piece swimsuit. For instance, wearing high-waisted bottoms like these shirred high-waisted bottoms from Bleu Rod Beattie’s Fresh Picks Collection covers my stomach which I prefer. Even though I’m short-waisted I prefer a higher waistline on my two-piece swimsuits. If I was fit and trim then perhaps a bikini bottom would be perfect for me. I selected the Underwire Bikini Top to go with my high-waisted bottoms. The Ruffled Sarong is a beautiful coverup.
