Summer is my favorite season and I love wearing white because it’s light and cooler to wear in the hot weather.
No matter your skin tone, wearing a white top or dress is your most powerful ally. It reflects light on the face and makes skin appear dewy and glowing, and blurs lines, wrinkles, and all those pain-in-the-neck skin flaws we have as we get older.
This summer we are invited to summer weddings and celebration parties and found the perfect maxi dress to wear from Boston Proper. This turquoise embellished halter dress is so flattering and elegant to wear for special occasions. Halter necklines are great for showcasing shoulders and drawing the eye upward, creating a balancing effect. I have very athletic shoulders and wearing a halter style flatters my shoulders and doesn’t make my arms to heavy.

I love your dress! It’s so summery and elegant at the same time … perfect for a summer wedding. I really like the effect of the wrap with the dress too. I need to get better at accessorizing!
