We discussed what my experiences were with past treatments and what treatments I thought didn’t do anything for me. I told her the reason I avoid injections is because I bruise so easily, and the bruising was way too much downtime for me. Creamy Sausage Pasta Ingredients 1 Pound Ground Italian Sausage 1 Pound Pasta ( I used orecchiette but penne and rigatoni are my other favorites) 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil 1/2 Yellow Onion Minced 1 red pepper, chopped 2 Cloves Garlic Minced 1/2 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes 1/2 Teaspoon Salt 2 Cups Heavy Cream 1-28 oz. Can San Marzano tomatoes, crushed 8 Ounces of chopped mushrooms 1 bag of frozen peas 1 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese Instructions Cook the penne pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package directions. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the Italian sausage along with the onion, peppers, garlic, red pepper flakes, and salt until the sausage is no longer pink. Add the mushrooms and cook for another 10 minutes. Drain excess fat from the skillet if necessary and return the meat mixture to the pan. Turn the heat to low and add the crushed tomatoes and cream to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and add in the peas. Cook, stirring for about 3 minutes. Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted. Stir the pasta into the sauce. The hotel has endured floods, The Civil War, epidemics, the Great Depression and an ever-changing Chattanooga.
