Casual New Year’s Eve Wearing Chico’s
Ladies, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! We spent the holidays skiing and staying home. Our son and his family flew in for Christmas to be with us in Park City. Having grandchildren open up presents and celebrate Christmas with us is so fun. However, we won’t have our family with us when we celebrate New Year’s Eve. So this week, I’m sharing two outfits that you can wear for New Year’s Eve. Today’s outfit is from Chico’s, which I think you’re going to love if you’re planning to go casual this New Year’s Eve.
Be faithful to your own taste,
Because nothing you really like is ever out of style. – Billy Baldwin
This quote is so accurate for me. I tend to wear classic and chic clothes for a woman my age. However, my closet is full of comfortable and stylish clothes from Chico’s. For instance, I recently wore a Chico’s outfit that I’ve had for years in my birthday post.
These clothes are timeless and have been worn year after year because I love them so much.
When I shop for clothes, I look for pieces that will stand the test of time. I want to wear clothes that are youthful, not frumpy. Just because I’m 65 years old, I want to look great for my age. Chico’s has so many great outfits that I am never disappointed in their selection.
Casual New Year’s Eve Outfit From Chico’s
I love this Floral Tapestry Jacket for a casual look for New Year’s Eve. The colors on the jacket give you so many options to wear in tops. I tend to love the citrine in the jacket, so I selected this citrine shirt to wear under the jacket. You can wear your favorite black shirt or this beaded sleep top in Jasper for New Year’s Eve. I am wearing a size one jacket, but I could have easily gone up a size because the sleeves are narrow. It feels comfortable, but I think a size two would have been fine but more significant in the body.
How fun are these embroidered ankle jeans? I could have worn black pants, but I wanted to keep my style casual. Even plain jeans will look great with the jacket. As you know, I am a fan of embellished jeans! I am so glad that Chico’s jeans come in different lengths, colors, and styles!
I decided to wear kitten heels with my ankle jeans, but flats would look just as stylish. Also, the jeweled leopard belt is actually a necklace! I have been looking for a thin chainlink belt, and this necklace works as a belt!
Style Hack: I used a safety pin to connect the clip to a chain. The chains are too thick to get the clasp through them.
There are so many beautiful options for earrings at Chico’s, but I loved the uniqueness of these gold hoops.
I have no idea what are plans are for New Year’s Eve but I plan on ringing in the new year in style! Do you have plans for New Year’s Eve? Will you ring in the new year quietly or with friends or family?

Hi Robin,
Love this outfit! The jacket is gorgeous and the colors are up my alley too! I love teal and gold and they look great with your blonde hair. The embroidery adds that special touch!
Happy New Year to you!

I just love this tapestry jacket from Chico’s too!
So many colors to pick from and it looks great dressed up or down!
I redesigned it because I was seeing a decline in pageviews so I switched to a faster SEO based theme.
I’m glad you like it!
What a lovely post Robin. I love those embroidered jeans and the jacket is very cool.
Happy Holidays and I just became grandma today!!!
Congratulations Heike!
You will love being a grandma! It’s the best thing in the world!
Happy New Year!
Those embroidered jeans are so pretty!
Thank you Joanne!
I thought it would be fun to add embroidered jeans to my jean collection.
Happy New Year!
