Love your look! I am fairly new to fashion blogging as well and yes, some people wonder why I’m doing it. But I am having so much fun and it has opened up so much creativity in me. I couldn’t agree with you more Robin on the aging myths. I was 66 on 9/12 and my husband will be 54 tomorrow! Yes, I’m 12 years older but no one ever thinks there is any age difference. I’ll have to share our story sometime. Recently I took my 13 year old granddaughter to a dentist appointment and she told me the lady cleaning her teeth said she had a “cool fashionable grandmother”! I’ll take it! Now whenever Taylor sees me she said “Mimi you look great”!

I’m not a big Jane Fonda fan but thought she looked gorgeous….I really don’t understand the backlash she’s received on her red carpet look. I think it’s important we as women support and build each other up, not tear each other down.

You look so pretty in your blue outfit….goes well with your coloring.

It scares me sometimes to think that the biggest part of my life is behind me. I returned 67 this year but that is just a number. I plan on being the best 67 yr old I can be. Great post.

Hi Robin!! This was such a pleasure to read and your words are so true. The Jane Fonda thing. I thought she looked FABULOUS!! She’s an inspiration to me. 79 years young and still so incredibly beautiful. If anyone threw shade at her, they were just jealous.
And no–you and I and many others who blog aren’t self-serving. We have lots to say and we will say what we went (I’m a bit self-centered though. OK. I’m VERY self-centered but not self-serving)
Blue is definitely your color–but those shoes. Those shoes are killer!!!!! XOXOXOXO!!!!
