I remember when the sisters all grabbed each others neck in the back!
It’s so true that our necks age in our 60s!
Mine is wrinkled and getting worse at 69 too.
But I think a happy smile on a wrinkled body deflects judgment from others everytime.

If your personality matches your twinkling eyes and gregarious smile, no one except you is noticing your neck. But alas, the mirror doesn’t lie. (I have a 10x that I keep swearing is going into the bin!) For my 69th birthday last month, my present was ‘the dreaded neck’. I promise, it appeared overnight. Just like this wrinkle, that age spot, that nose hair… ugh. Although my preferred hairstyle is short, 3-4″ below the hairline is the goal to be able to use duct or medical grade tape to pull the neck together in the back, just like the sisters in the Greek Wedding. Yup.
BTW, you look stunning in the brighter colors (esp turquoise) and the leopard. That baby is precious!

So nice to meet you!
I wrrrrrote that post a couple of years ago but it’s my most popular one.
As we get older, our necks show signs of aging just like the rest of our bodies.
I know many women who have tried botx, neck lifts, and other treatments but I havent gone that route yet.
I do use neck creams to keep my skin looking hydrated.
In the summer I wear chunky multistrand necklaces and that seems to help me.

I’m 63, well 64 in about a week… and usually avoid looking in the mirror! However yesterday I noticed that my neck looks worse than I realized. And I decided I want to start doing something about it. I do love the idea of the scarves and the turtlenecks etc. What are you doing in hot weather though? Maybe a lightweight, cotton scarf around the neck might work in the summer. And also can you please recommend some products that are good for the neck and chest skin? If you know of any I’d be grateful!

Very depressing but it saves money! I also don’t wear my rings or bracelets anymore as it draws attention to my veiny hands! I just don’t like the look of trying too hard so I just try to put on a little makeup and wear a smile!
