Such a cute dress, Robin! The fact that it offers UV protection is a great bonus. Like you, I’m fair-skinned, and I have additional risk factors as well. A few years ago I had to have a small basal cell cancer removed from my face, and that was definitely a wakeup call. I’m now super diligent about keeping my annual skin check appointment with my dermatologist. Thanks for sharing this important info!

I’ve had a few suspicious spots removed in the last few years. It’s really nothing to ignore. I only wish I would have started using sun block more diligently in my younger days. Thank you for all the important information.

Sun damage is one of those, “I wish I knew then what I know now” things in life. I too have spent a lifetime in the sun and on boats. And, oh did I love having a tan!

The good thing is that we do know better now. We can use products to protect our skin from further damage and wear great clothing like your beautiful dress.

After having so many “spots” checked I am deeply grateful that I’ve missed a bullet getting skin cancer. I remember thinking it was cool to slather on baby oil at the beach. Not so cool now…. These Cabana Life dresses and hats are beautiful and FUNNN. ????????

I have been really good about wearing hat in the summer in the last couple of years. My dad grew up in Santa Monica and used to spend his time on the beach till he was 18: he is paying for it now with having to get skin cancers removed. While I somtimes forget to apply sunscreen to my boys, they also wear hat when it is sunny. I really love this color and print and that is really neat for the dress to have spf protection!

Yes, I used to do some amazing things laying out in my teens and early 20s.
I use a sunscreen every day and prefer makeup with sunscreen too.
Love the colors of your dress! The baby blue and coral are lovely and the shift style is very pretty on you.
